A 35' coach opens up the possibility of staying at many more places. The Dover Rift Oak in the Suede finish is such an elegant and tasteful finish. The luxury built into this 35' coach makes it my #1 favourite class-A. Newmar has knocked it out of the park with this model.

We thought about getting a New Aire but the 37 foot Dutch Star is a better value with 2 more feet which makes a difference-We we’re able to load up the Dutch Star with options-They have the same Cummins 450 and towing and payload capacity-Dollar for dollar you can’t be the 37 foot Dutch Star ⭐️ 🚌🇺🇸😃

Dutch star is a great value but Lance points out several features that the new aire has that the Dutch star does not.

We have a New Aire and there is nothing wrong with a Dutch Star but New Aire has Silverleaf electronic system control (think remote monitoring) , Not as tall (1 ft shorter) and shorter wheelbase for tighter turning. Also Spartan chassis (to me a sportier ride) only available on New Aire (it's an upgrade but you get longer engine warranty so a wash) we thought get the biggest coach with the floor plan that works and not go a foot longer.

@@HumbleHiker Glad you mentioned the height difference, people don't consider the passenger bay door openings and how large and open they make things. I'd only change two things and that would be removing the marrow storage bay slide tray and drawers instead of a dishwasher...we still do our dishes by hand at age 70.

Great video, enjoyed it very much. I prefer the Super "C"s but..would have no problem with this RV, so sweet. I do wish you'd show a shot of the coach with the slides in so we can see if there's any room to walk down when stopping.

Country Coach was ahead of their time. Tiffin offers the Allegro Bus in a 35 CP floorplan and the little longer highly sought after 37 AP in model years 2014-2022, both with the Cummins L9 450 HP / 1,250 ft lbs w/ Allison 3000 MH & 15,000 lb towing.

The one problem I see with this coach is the sealed windows everywhere. We love fresh air and the lack of being able to open windows is a deal breaker for us, especially in the bed slide out. However what a beautiful coach she is, and a good price to boot.

Nice review fellas. Been eyeballing the new aire for a year or so after doing a 60 day 6k mile journey from Florida to Maine and half way across the country back west in a Thor Magnitude in summer ‘21.. best of many worlds here is my gut feeling with the new aire as u said when considering ur experience with the full size phaeton and the compact leisure van. Trying to parce some of the features of the new model with the original ‘18s would be interesting discussion for future. Aloha from Maui

Andrew - wanted to ask about the single versus a tag axle? As you know the Newmar New Aire has a single rear axle versus a Mountain Aire with a additional tag axle. Over the years RV enthusiast would generally say that a single axle would be difficult to drive because of wind and semi trucks and that a tag axle would be much improved. I watched your video on the 35 New Aire that you drove at Transwest along with your Dad recent purchase but there was no mention of that, so I am wondering if that is no longer an issue or if their is a difference? The Mountain Aire has a 38 and 41 footer with tag axle. We currently have a 45 - Liberty Prevost Bus but looking to downsize to less than 40 feet for access to more parks and less complexity. Thanks

Newnars are nice but they have GOT TO UPDATE THEIR ELECTRICAL PANELS ! They belong in a urban garage not in a half to one million dollar vehicle. ONLY ONE OPENING WINDOW in the entire coach , forcing you to have to listen to AC blowing, and the constant electric draw forcing the generator to run or be plugged into power everywhere you go. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ANDREW You have done a great job showing this coach , other than those 2 niggles it is a very nice coach . My favorite floor plan, but yah those windows need to open. While going to the San Antonio RV show this last weekend we ran across this model. Sadly we were not impressed for what was in there for the price. We own a 35/36 foot RV and it is much less in cost. Cannot justify the price for what you get when right next or not to far from it was a comparable 40 footer+ for less money. Newmar makes a quality RV but if I was to upgrade I would want to go larger. Would be interesting to know the sales numbers on this unit...
