This is amazing! I’m from IvoryCoast, I have a lot of Nigerians friends but whenever I ask them about Nigeria they only have negative things to say, they almost make it sound like they escaped a battlefield or something. I have always wanted to come visit Nigeria and most certainly will regardless of the negative exaggerations I hear about it. It is tradition in Nigeria. Well-planned and rightly developed cities in Nigeria take time to materialize. Abuja for example was like that at inception. Even in the early 1990s when the Nigerian Seat of government was moved to Abuja from Lagos, the development rate then was slow and different from what we have there today. Eko Atlantic is a reclaimed land from the sea. Construction engineers might be able to convince you that building on such land requires caution, time and serious investment. The developers are on track.

Africans gladly sell their souls to materialism and the illusions of "development" (which in actuality should be called "westernization"). While that is true, I'm not sure that there's literally a price increase as you move up each floor. What I think is that the building will be divided into sections; e.g. a 20 storey high-rise may be split into 3, or 4 sections, 1st-5th floor, 6th-10th floor, 11th-15th floor, 16th-20th floor, and a penthouse (the topmost floor) if available. Then the price will increase as you go higher, based on those sections and number of bedrooms of course. However, this is what I feel though. Any realtor/expert can give more info.

Good video Tayo, it is great to see this ongoing development. I am just a little concerned of the other implications that having the US consulate there could potentially cause. Obviously there will be heightened security as is with all things American, so this will affect free movement in and out of the area for leisure and tourism. Secondly the consulate staffs will most likely be residing in the development so that will raise the price of an already expensive development putting it further out of reach of Nigerians in Nigeria.

Na its not. A two bed in Monaco is 4 million. In New York prices can go up to 10 million. This is like the price of an apartment in Manchester and they don't have the view an ocean.

@@dududale62you can’t compare those places to Nigeria in development.

Very nice. I would not want to rush them either. When reclaimed land is used to build, it has to be done well and I think that is what’s going on with Eko Atlantic.

That's proof someone peoples are making so much money they don't know what to do with it ! that amount of money can be use to help the very poor in Nigeria instead by taxing them !
@cocobutterchin67682 жыл бұрын
Yes. Overpriced. Most Billionaires in Nigeria will not buy it. Maybe foreign investors that brought their millions dollars to Nigeria

The lady is funny, she said if you can afford to buy an apartment at Eko Atlantic, getting a VISA shouldn’t be a problem. Imagine Davido saving money to buy an iPhone. 😂
