You are correct we don't even know how much an Apache Longbow costs because that's classified but I'd say well over 60 million , as the first generation cost 52 million but I think they're referring to civilian helicopters here and like I replied I would rather have an Augusta 119 that does 200 miles an hour in Cruise and can go almost 800 miles that's double the range of this overpriced Beast

I came to the comments to check because I couldn't see how a cabin that cramped could possibly be the most expensive helicopter. Also I'm with you on double range and speed on that model you mentioned decked out for $2.3MM. If you're in a helicopter more than 4 hours/ traveling 800+ miles, you probably should have taken a plane.

Same reason a S-60 (civil version of UH-60) is more expensive than it's civilian only class competitors. It is obvious you have no knowledge, take the L and go find a short related to something you do know about

Lousy helicopter... Just like Boeing Max. The H225 started life as medium lift helicopter and was stretch to become heavy lift.. The design is meant for medium size. Most probably the MGB is medium size and the low ceiling feels like medium size. Definitely it will problematic like the MAX which started life as a small plane. Huge engine. Stretch fuselage, MCAS and telescopic landing gears spelt disaster for MAX. Similar story with H225 crashed with MGB problem. The Sikorsky S92 is the best heavy lift civilian helicopter as it was design to be heavy lift from the start. Huge and spacious with good ceiling height one can easily walk down the aisle without bowing down and crawl.
