My $150 in Manila, Philippines is much better than that. The inclusions are amazing: there's a huge pool, a large gym, and a buffet restaurant where you can eat anything you want for free because it's included in the $150. Additionally, the fridge is stocked with soft drinks and liquor, and there's a chocolate welcoming treat. The food is very delicious and top-notch.

I am from Kenya I thought my country was really poor but after watching this Burundi's is on another level.I have a friend from Burundi whose family was displaced during the previous major conflict in the country but their family have made a fortune in Kenya from entrepreneurial activities.They are the most welcoming family.Almost every weekend they invite me to some cool 'function' i have to decline sometimes cause they are too many😂🤣.It is sad to see these people suffering because of easily avoidable things like war.

I mean, we laugh at the service from the perspective of people from better-off countries, where the furniture seen is ordinary/standard to us, and the service is lacking in comparison to our other life experiences. But for the locals they could probably only dream of staying in such a place. Comfortable seats and bed, clean bathroom with running water and hot water. Food that to us is unimpressive, but to the locals they've probably never tasted anything close to. It's heartbreaking to think about how these very basic things are completely out-of-reach for so many people in the world. I wish it wasn't this way. I wish everyone could have at the very least good shelter, clean water and filling meals. I hate that the world is like this. At least that $800 likely would have been a welcome addition to the local community.

The price is obviously rigged. But we also have to take in consideration that it goes based on standards of the country, not the world. Actual prices for such a hotel room (without the rest faculties included) would be around 50-100$ in southeast Asia and about 100-200$ in European countries. Obviously based on the services it's not even worth 150$. But again, it's a poor nation, so it's considered luxury.

I can't stop laughing at everything that went on during the hotel stay. It's like I already expected a bad time, but something about how each and every facet of the hotel was a letdown for the price really killed me. My stomach is aching from laughing too much.

My $150 in Manila, Philippines is much better than that. The inclusions are amazing: there's a huge pool, a large gym, and a buffet restaurant where you can eat anything you want for free because it's included in the $150. Additionally, the fridge is stocked with soft drinks and liquor, and there's a chocolate welcoming treat. The food is very delicious and top-notch.
