Tip for motors. You can get 2 drills from ref 2 for 14gp per reset. If you have workbench 2 you can use those drills (along with a red and flathead screwdriver which are reuseable) and some tape, which also trades from ref, to make a motor.

@lordcreepy not even a game mechanic, an entirely different game that you (almost) need to buy in order to have access to that stuff or at least have access consistently. Imo they fucked up the entire arena integration. It would have been much better as part of the base game. There likely wouldn't be all these issues with syncing accounts and could have probably been able to do some more interesting events or tie ins to the main game. Instead, they go the greedy route and make it a separate game, that gives a certain edge to those who use it.

I would love for the flea to be gone and never ever return but the game has no reasonable solution to the vast multitude of needed keys. No one wants to farm drawers and jackets their whole life to get the one quest key they need. With some balancing of some ways to obtain necessary items the game would be in an amazing state. It’s very satisfying that you are finding items you NEED and not just flipping through shit to get the highest return on each 1x1 square. On a second note the “chads” crying about not having access to endless meta gear/weapons/ammo. Is objectively hilarious. It hasn’t even been two weeks guys, and if you were better at the game you wouldn’t lose the meta gear you find anyways. Get tarkoved

Hard disagree. Not being able to buy tarcola for finish a fridge because I haven't been lucky enough to find it is awful. Finally finding a hideout item in raid and then dying is awful. Add flea so I can buy what I need for barters, keep FiR hideout but make secure container keep FiR status and you just fixed 80% of the complaints.

Important to mention- drinking water in your hideout will restore your hydration, but the points you see going towards metabolism is a BUG. You STILL do NOT get actual progress when eating and drinking in hideout. This is a long running bug that has not been fixed. You will see points show up when you're in hideout, but once you run a raid and look again later, you'll see your progress is just back to what it was before. Always try and save your food/water to eat/drink right at the start of your raid.

You can also make your own pixelglass from level 1 workbench and lvl 1 ragman, the K1S face shields can be purchased for like 8k and turned to glass that vendors for like 10k, I've been using this as a alternating craft to keep the skill leveling.

Im not 100% sure yet since we havent experienced this wipe with flea open yet. however, based on the info in this video, the most significant change this wipe may actually end up being how much more valuable and useful your hideout is going to wnd up being with all of the crafting that will be most like necessary to geind out the modules as fast as possible. This, on its face, seems like a good change. I have barely used the hideout modules for crafting things other than ammos, early quest items and profitable items. This seems to make rhe modules almost reuqired for decent and speedy progression.

What if there was a system where you could sell found in raid things on the flea as well as not fir things but the found in raid things are more expensive because sellers can charge a premium for the fir status. Upon buying the fir item it stays found in raid so you can use it for the hideout but is not able to be sold again in order to prevent flipping.

Farm high level ground 0 for holodilniks. Literally every item needed for it is on that map en masse. IMO best map for gfx cards/holodilniks or just food/electronics in general, due to the amount of spawns, and the small Size of the map. I’ve farmed a holodilnik from like 3 raids on ground 0 (to be fair it was last wipe).

I haven't played last wipe. After playing this game for 4k hours from 2017, almost every single wipe I had enough of the same shit over and over again. This wipe... Hits differently. No flea and FiR for hideout made this game interesting again. I actually have to think about my eq and what is available to me. I love that some things are HARD to get. I love that some things are IMPOSSIBLE to find (keys). That makes me want to go for even just a next scav raid. I cant just buy it/buy shit to barter for it. Like what even is the meaning of barter if you don't need to find things in raid xD? Just buy it. Ridiculous and meaningless. I do think that spme quests are not made for flea-less game experience. Some would need to be reworked or there should be more barters for necessary items that are essentials for these quests (I am looking at you, fortis. Lv6 gunsmith...). But whatever. I will just leave the game again after kappa i guess.

The flea won't be as lucrative. Fir hideout has already changed pve flea dramatically. Many items are no longer worth picking up unless you like seling directly to traders. You can't build an empire on nuts, bolts, and wires anymore.

6:18 Regarding roubles and money cases - i don't think money cases will really be in-demand at all. Because wallets seem to spawn relatively frequently on scavs and can now store 24 mil (going up to 40 mil if you put them into a CSA rig) in the same 6 slots a money case takes up. And not a lot of players are going to have more than 40 or even 24 mil roubles... ever.

This guy must know nothing about economics because that exactly whats not going to happen and its pretty clear too.... everyone is already hoarding desirable items to sell when the flea market opens. When it does, the market will be flooded, and all the overpiced stuff will immediately sink to the bottom, never to be seen again, leading to a constant wave of underbidding, until prices eventually level out and start to rise back up to expected levels due to scarcity. Which means theres actually a chance here, if you have enough stash space, to buy a WHOLE lot of underpriced goods that everyone wants and needs, and then wait a week till after the flea has regulated, to sell them for more. That is, if that will be allowed given the current rules, i havent used the flea since the found in raid necessity was removed.
