They have a 20" Z- Special with Canadian bacon, Pepperoni, Sausage, Ground Beef, Onions, Bell Peppers,Mushrooms and Black and Green Olives for $25.99. Most GOOD pizza places charge around $30 for a 18"-20" pizza. So $40 in the city makes sense, the fact that it's thin crust doesn't really matter coz I've never seen a thin crust be cheaper just coz you get less bread. Only places like Little Caesars, Pizza Hut, and Dominos charge less.

couple things I don't think are 100% correct here. Most good places in the city charge $30. There's only two places I've found in the city that charge $40 and this was isn't a great flavor so I really don't think this price makes sense. And I do think the thickness matters a TON because detroit style and chicago deep dish pizzas are always more expensive (because they obviously use wayyyy more ingredients) so it was important to keep this to only thin crust pizzas. Hope that helps make senseof this.

The price is crazy. The pizza does not look nearly as good as the standard thin crust pizza I make at home and my pizza costs me far less than $10 each to make. It is hard to say what the maximum I will pay for a pizza. It depends on the place and the toppings. If I go to Una Pizza Napoletana in New York, which has won the award for best pizza in the world, I would be willing to pay far more for that than a standard neighborhood pizza place. Plus, if the toppings include Japanese A5 Wagyu and freshly shaved truffles, I would pay far more for that than the standard pepperoni.
