What are your thoughts on the 'Pikachu ex - 179/131 - SV: Prismatic Evolutions' that I recently pulled? Should I sell it now, since its value might go down? As you mentioned, gold cards don't typically retain their value.

Short-term, no one knows but I don’t think it has a chance of being one of the top cards of the era long-term, so probably better places you can put that money. You just gotta make the call based on if you wanna sell it now for a solid price or hold off and see how high the prismatic evolution hype gets. The surging sparks gold pikachu hit around 200 usd in raw before dropping back down if that helps

Rarity wise, sir should always carry more weight than ir cause its easier pull rate. Pokemon does matter but rarity matters alot to card value imo
