It's impossible not to love this French cake! The Breton cake, perfect to be eaten for breakfast or with tea or coffee. It looks like a big pancake, it is simply delicious! With simple ingredients. It can be made small or bigger. It can be flavored with vanilla, kept plain (just a butter cake) or garnished with homemade jam. Good tasting !
Ingredients :
150 g salted butter in ointment (½ cup + 3 tbsp)
150 g sugar (¾ cup)
3 egg yolks (1 at a time)
250 g of flour little by little (1 cups + ½ cup + 1 tbsp)
1 large tablespoon of amber rum or orange blossom ♥
1 egg yolk + 1 tablespoon of water
