Boz truly is a product of the 80s. I grew up in those days and in a time where you got three channels over the air and maybe Sporting News or Sports Illustrated in the mail...he was everywhere. Almost as much as Phil Collins, who also only could have been huge in the 80s. He definitely seems like a man who grew up, got rid of that persona and became a stand up human. Hate it that virtually all my favorite players had short pro careers. Tebow. Johnny Football. The Boz. Even Big Bird in baseball if anyone remembers him? Joe Namath's was relatively short by Tom Brady standards. Less than half of Brady's historic career. Magic Johnson was essentially forced out early. Jim Brown went for Hollywood cash with a ton of mileage left in the era of lower pay for NFL stars.
