The biggest problem with Domain's is that they keep cramming them entirely onto villain teams. Super Bosses are 3 major Domains, Movie Bosses has 2, its feels like another method of keeping villains down and making sure Super Class stays on top. Since Domains were introduced, we only have 2 Super Class domains and 6 Extreme Class. Domaims feel like a way to handicap villains,

I don't know if I'd say domains handicap villains when some of those domains are sorta restricted to activate like Lord Slug's and INT LR Broly's. Super Bosses is the only one it really impacts. So technically speaking, You can already choose. The issues I find is A. When a character gets a permanent transformation from activating their domain, and you're running two of that character B. How the domains restrict team builds with the super or extreme class enemies AND allies taking extra damage. Either way I believe they're making a decent step foward with the Domains, they even said they're working on them in producer letter after WWC

There's such an easy fix to this problem too... simply just give the player the choice to activate the domains after the card is already transformed. And also give other units the ability to activate their domains when available and choose which domain (out of other previously activated domains) to have up at one time.

​@@legendaryred24 In that regard, that's where it's specific, but honestly, I see no reason why those units can't transform without their domains up (disregarding the thematic purposes). If AGL LR broly can have his transfo even after his domain is gone, then so can buu and zamas. (more so buu, because zamas would break the game if he could transform without his domain 😭 probly make it where his transfo lasts the turn it's activated, if the player chooses not to activate the domain with the transfo)

@ it just wouldn’t make sense. If you cancel the domain you cancel the domain form as well because they are tied to the domain. Broly would still be transformed but Buu and Zamasu would just go back to base

While the fix is "easy", I don't think they could make such a change given how big it would be to cards. It's like adding a new mechanic to a card that's already out. Mostly speculation on my part, But I'm sure there's some legal thing preventing them from doing so.

The worst part is that most domains are available around the same time which is from turn 4 onwards. Only Slug, INT Broly and Buuhan can domain turn 1 and none of them are on Super Bosses.

They should implement a dual domain system, where multiple domains can be opened but only one of the domain effects work at a time and then once one of the domains runs out, then the other domains effects will activate, but any part of the passive skill required for that characters specific domain to be open can be active because both domains are open at the same time, just only one of the domains territorial effects is active at a time to prevent characters from being too powerful

I think if they change 2 thinks in domanis thinks will get better 1 let domain stack (they alerady 2 edge sword becuse they can buff enemys) 2 let characters who transform in domain stay transformed if new domain give them full buff (there need to be some kind of buff to stay transformed)(thanks to that teq zamasu and phy goku black could best pals)

2 probably won't ever happen cause you're asking them to make a big change to a character whose already out. It's not like when they buff or fix a character who isn't working as intended, Characters who revert back to normal after their domain is gone are SUPPOSED to do that, and that is a big change I don't think they're even allowed to do. As for letting them stack, IMO the second domain you activate should just override the first one. Like if you use AGL Broly's, then use TEQ Zamasu, Zamasu swaps but removes Broly's domain and changes to Infinite Zamasu

But I mean overrides are fine, but they aren’t gonna be as effective as first though. This is due to the vast amount of units that are getting forms tied to their domain like Rose and Buu

To be fair standbys have a very similar problem, but i find they're better designed as they focus on altering the individual characters actions as opposed to just buffing the team and doing whatever else

All they need to do is to let us stack domains for more than 1 character. Maybe dont make the buffs stack since that would be too broken, but at least let 2 units go in their domain at the same time to transform.

Most of this year's domain issues could be solved by simply changing AGL Broly's active skill from "Transforms; creates the domain..." to just "Transforms" and then in FP Broly's passive "Creates the domain... (once only) upon entering character's attacking turn"

I have like three thoughts on how it could work to utilize multiple domain transformations, one would be like for same domain characters for leader and partner just to be able to activate it and add the turns of the new domain or refresh it, second would be for two separate domains the new one just simply overrides the old domain, third would be that the transformation can happen but it’s applied to the duration of the current domain

If you override theirs it will remove the transformation as well, there is no way to not make it like that. So the mechanic would have to work around that somehow or make it to where they overlap

It is sort of. Units that straight up transform and stay that form yes I agree, but units like Buu and Rose not exactly. They are directly tied to their domain so it isn’t that sinole since if once their domain is gone so is their form

Dokkan should just let multiple Domain Expansion be able to cast, but only the most recent one is active. That way, TEQ Mugen Zamasu and PHY Naruto Rosè can be broke n.

So my idea is when a domain is activated (let's use Broly for example)you can transform with Rose and Zamasu and be able to do Future Gohan's active but Broly's domain effects are the one that are gonna be up so in conclusion if a domain is activated you can use the abilities of other units whether it would be a transformation or an active skill but the effects of the domian that got popped are the ones that are gonna be up(btw the same problem is with standby skills there are different versions but most of them are ki charging ones which hurts the SSJ trio and Z duo cuz you would obviously use the family kamehameha one)

That won’t work tho. The Buu and Rose forms are not transformations. They are directly tied to their own domain meaning that if you want to use them you need their domain on the field. So it would have to overlap

It’s the exact same as an active skill or a revive, you can only activate that once a certain condition has been met
