UPDATE: Verdant now has 9 enjoyment ratings from its 11 victors and a score of 9.44. Another victor, Brumik, did not give a score but called it “hands down the best extreme”, so if we call that a 10 the score would be 9.5 Also multiple of the ratings given were greater than 10, so those are just treated as 10s. 10000000/10 would probably skew the results a bit LOL

Something to note is that Verdant Landscape might appear within the top 5 somewhat soon. It has 4 victors and all 4 have given it a 10/10 rating, which is insane for a level that is harder than Kenos

I have played the Calamity Mod completely and I would say this is a really good level. The Music is also the same as in the Terraria fight. And at the end is Anahita one of the two boss enemys in the fight.

fun fact about boogie, digitalzero makes notes on issues players find with the gameplay, and updates the level semi frequently to fix those issues. he once said that he wants boogie to be the most fun extreme demon in the game. very well made video, it's nice to see a topic like this have this much effort put into it. unfortunately, I feel like a lot of the jokes are very forced and don't land well, and they can make the video feel like a drag sometimes. nice to see goldcrest palace and glacial torrent so high on this list

On March 15th 2024 I rewatched this video, as I remembered it being quite enjoyable. I noticed a level in the top 10 most enjoyable, Artifice, and decided to do a practice run. 15:48 fun fact about MaJacko’s part, the little slope-y structure that bounces your ship around is really inconsistent (and possibly bugged? I’m not quite sure) and can possibly propel the upward momentum of your ship more or less depending on how you enter it. This sounds fine until you realise just how minimal of a difference of how you enter can affect your ship movement, it’s basically luck. While I do like MaJacko’s part-it’s very good looking with some very cool structuring and the idea of a memory-esque ship is very conceptually appealing-it sure doesn’t play that well and definitely adds a lot as to why people don’t enjoy the level ):

Boogie and Endless Dream finally get the recognition they deserve. Hell, the latter is Zeronium's favorite level! Also surprised to see Artifice and Goldcrest Palace in the Top 10. The former especially seems pretty polarizing. I, too, tried to go for this as a new hardest on mobile. The last third of the level was actually so difficult and inconsistent - I hated it, but that's my experience on mobile. PC would be amazing.

Artifice has always been my personal favorite. Although it arguably and extreme or insane, thanatophobia is super fun. A similar level gameplay wise is firework although it's slightly more advanced with the wave where thana has no wave. I think if firework was an easier extreme it would be super fun

If I made this video, I’d replace Sonic Wave Infinity with ErebuS by Platnuu. I could make a 50000 character long script venting how absolute sinister, frightening and terrible that level is. Basically describing and raging that it is the absolute INFINITELY worst level that ceases to exist in the entire history of Geometry Dash and NOTHING will ever top that level for as long as the universe is alive.
