Aight I hate to sound like a nerd but the only reason the plane sounded that way was because the actual jet engine wasn’t facing you until it got to that point. The sound isn’t delayed unless the plane is going Mach speed (the speed of sound) and that plane was clearly not going the speed of sound. Also keep in mind that the plane was already farther away so the sound would be slightly delayed anyway

The Jet needs to be going over 750MPH to break the sound barrier so knowing that you can estimate how fast it was going by where the sound was coming from and where it is since this is a video and it's difficult to tell I think going around 893-976MPH. but that was only with measuring the jet then trying to find what jet that is to see how big it is and guessing how far it traveled before the sound went off and then measuring it on screen and multiplying it by the ratio from the on screen jet in inches to the full sized jet in inches. I find math fun Edit: I'm pretty sure I got it wrong.
