Iam not herald tho 2k mmr and I was pro dota player. And just play few games a month for the love of the game, but hate most of the heroes movements and new stupid mechanics and weird items not even fitting into the game. Well it's not even dota anymore and it's still in beta since 2012 (bugs, unballances, dumb updates, broken matchmaking), and toxic lobbies with 7+ premuted game lobbies. @@Izigurand we did win. After the early rapier and moon shard, he started balling, and if he ever got in trouble, I’d just curse someone on their team to give him room to retreat. It was going great until we were taking rax and he dove T4’s to kill their drow and died. Then the game became hard. He farmed up another rapier and eventually the drow fucked up and died, then we ended the game with his two rapiers.

In it you will find literal children, people who are simply new, those who care not about MMR and simply want to troll (benevolent), those who care not about MMR and simply want to troll (malevolent) and shockingly I've found, the occasional somewhat skilled player who either doesn't play more than 2 games a week

Yeah or the people who are actually not half bad at some areas of the game, but dogshit at the rest. I had a friend when I was in herald who spammed meepo. AFAIK he has the micro skills of a 5 or 6k player on meepo. But he had no game sense, raged in half the games, and sucked at every other hero. So he is, to this day, stuck in herald 3.

Every player (that has more than maybe 50 hours played) has some aspect about themselves that is near immortal tier. For herald players, they probably only have 1 thing. As you move up the ranks, more pieces of your gameplay are near immortal level. Until you're actually immortal. That's why you get people having god tier micro and never looking at their minimap, or warding/dewarding better than the pros but overlapping all their stuns on the guy who's magic immune.

well drow saw that trick on a dota cinema short, some context here, marci died, told her mk to disconnect and give him unit control, so marci was able to drop all her items, use mk and put them in his stash, so her buy back became cheaper since she had no items per say and the game reduced her buy back to what it thought would be the appropriate amount based on her level instead of her items. drow had the right idea kinda lol, the enemy took her item.
