the integration of 3d anmation in this show is really jarring when you notice it, but i think there's likely a lot more time that you don't notice it

If you're not an artist or someone who works with animation, it's probably a lot less noticeable. When I was younger I hardly realized there was 3D aside from the horrible model they used during the Dyna Blade episides. Some episodes it's definitely more apparent and less well-implemented than others. Overall imo I always liked the 2D parts more, but I understand it helped them save money and in turn a longer running series.
