After my many years of watching anime. Am saying like 10+ years worth of anime. Since I've been watching them basically the day is as born like doraemon, crayon shin Chan and even early one piece. Violet is among one of the most emotionally provoking anime I've watched and it's not just because it's related to human death which is seen a lot in violet. But because the story and each chapter and person violet meets leaves a deep impression and emotion. Along with the music, high quality animation, character design and setting (I rlly enjoy settings like violet. The old European or Western style countries based either on Victorian or world war periods adds an element other animes settings cant)it's truly a masterpiece. Tho it's not for everyone since the story is slower pace and not as action packed or comedy and romance filled like other anime. The last time I felt such deep emotions with the characters and story was when I watched clannad and that during its time was truly something else.

Must be hard to tell. This tune being played is the more reoccurring theme throughout the series. It's the theme of setting up the scenario. It was even used in the opening scene of "Eternity and auto memories doll". Though 'Across the Violet Sky' could very well be the most iconic. Could be hard to tell.
