Hello SW-Motech, I have the tankring for the 901 on order. Could you tell me wich the 2 largest tankbags are that can be mounted ? On all my previous bikes i had a GS tankbag. But became sad after finding out that i could not use it on the 901. Next year going on a large trip and i need as much space on the tankbag as i can get. But it definitely must not stick out so akwardly as the one you showed in this video. Because that tankbag will interfere with riding and sitting. And when going offroad the tankbag you showed will be fighting against you i think. I need a tankbag that follows the shape op the tank as much as possible. But not sticks out over te saddle like the one you showed. I think that adjusting the adapter on the tankbag itself could maybe help with that ? Also the place of the tankring itself will be adjustable not ? Giving us some some space to fiddle around for the best comfort. For the last 12 years loved my GS sw-motech tankbag. And it had a lot of space. Used that one on the xt660z, the triumph 800xc, 1190r. And the all were placed perfectly. So i hope with my new bike you will not let me down. I rather not go the old route with a tankbag with straps. At the top i will throw a color 7.8 ereader filled with ME-Maps. A really beautifull app to use when going for a large trip. Could recommend that app to everyone. Use the gps on the phone and let both connect with bluetooth. An ereader is just perfect for showing a larger map. Way better then a tablet. For the larger overvieuw. And in the evening you can go through maps to plot the next day. And from my understanding sw-motech has a holder that hold a 7.8 inch tablet. I did find out that shops do not carry a few different sw-motech tankbags models. So can't try the fit out. Need to find the best fitting tankbag out through internet. A shame but it is what it is. Sw-Motech should demand a minimal stock that a shop has to carry and otherwise make sure that they have to pay more then a shop that has more models on stock. Called 8 shops in a radius of 120 km'ters. What a dissapointment. But on the otherhand. I think this is what internet is causing. Internet is great but in many cases rather a curse instead of a blessing. Therefore it would be nice that you atleast on the sw-motech site you could look at pictures of your bike with different tankbags attached so you can determine wich one to order. And not to make a guess.

Hello Kees, thanks for your kind feedback and contacting us. We also had the challenge to find a positive solution in terms of tankbags for this bike, that do not interfere with the rider. Do to the space issue, we do only assign the tankbags in the video, our PRO Micro and PRO Daypack, which will work well, also during riding. The mounting plate underneath the tankbag will allow to position the bag in a way it will comfort you.

@@SW-MOTECH Hi, thank you for your reply. Although i hoped another advice. I hoped that the Pro City tankbag would fit. That one is only just 11 liter and the bare minimum of what i need. Maybe in the future SW-Motech can think something out a bit differently. Maybe change the position of the tankring so there is more choice. Greetings,

Hello Kees, thanks for getting back at us. Sometimes, the mounting of the tankring in combination with the available space near the handlebar does not allow a bigger bag. Therefore, the Pro City will not work. However, if you wish to use a bigger tankbag, you may check out our PRO Seat ring, which allows you to use the PRO Sport (12-17 liters)

The rearshock can get very hot and even fail because it's to close to the catalisator. Make a protection/heatschield around the side near the rearschock.

No hate but the positioning of the tank bag is absolutely useless like that. Also your phone mount for this bike doesn't fit properly as it hits the dash

Hi Luis, thanks for your comment. The mounting of the tankbag and the GPS mount isn´t possible in a different way. This placement is unfortunately the only option to offer these products and it is possible to use them in this position. /KF

@@SW-MOTECH There are many tank bags that wont hit your stomach while riding onroad or your balls while offroad. I wouldn't advertise a piece of equipement specific for a bike when it clearly doesn't fit.

Hey Luis, as told, unfortunately the shown mounting is the only possibility to use a tank bag on this bike. Otherwise you cant use your handlebar. In our tests were no problems sitting with mounted equipment. If you don´t belive this mounting will work for you, maybe a tail bag would be an option. /KF
