Thank you Harriet. I find sizes, both in terms of how much 'belly' a brush has and the length of the bristles, hugely variable between the different brands. There doesn't seem to be much standardisation.

Yes they all seem to have their own version of pointed round don’t they!

@@deWintonPaperCo I have also had one or two from the exact same manufacturer that have been slightly different size-wise to my old ones. I recently decided to replace sable brushes with imitation sables...the differences in sable and synthetic has been quite noticeable. The synthetic ones seem to keep their points for longer and are more ethical though :)

Thank you for this. I have looked in the US and can't find this particular line of Pro Arte. I did find on Amazon US other Pro Arte sets. I'm wondering if the series 99 or 107 are similar bristle and shape? They both say watercolor. I wondered if there might even be the same series under different market for the US like some supplies are. I have tons of brushes so I may have ones that will work for the larger sizes. The minis however are another story.
