Hi Muzi, if my two-year warranty expires, is the bank right to continue deducting that amount though the car is no longer under warranty? I also have the bank deducting a tracking device money while I canceled with the dealership's tracking company and even paid penalty fees and had my own preferred company tracking the car, is this okay for me to still pay for the tracking device too though I'm paying for another one?

Very informative video Muzi ❤️👍🏼 I have one question, if someone sold their car and the credit provider hands the account over to debt collection due to some stupid miscommunication and the person makes payment arrangements with the collector, should the account on credit bureau still show the initial credit agreement amount or should it now show the balance after sale of vehicle? I'm in that predicament and would like some friendly advice on how to go about this? I can't buy a car because I'm seen as over-indebted. I'd appreciate your point of view. Thank you.

My opinion whilst you wait for Muzi's feedback/expert opinion. The credit bureaus reflect the full history of that agreement (principal debt, loan term, outstanding balance, repayment installments and payment history) until the full debt is settled and account closed. In a case where there was debt restructuring, my assumption is that the above will still apply until a clearance certificate is provided indicating that the agreement terms have been satisfied. It might be beneficial to request your free credit report from the credit bureaus and see what exactly is on your report.

@@katshiesumbana5133 I've requested my credit report and it shows the principal debt with the creditor as it was while the car was financed but the thing is, the amount owed now is 4x less than the principal debt because the creditor settled most of it with the sale of the car and they also gave me a discount on the remaining balance. It just puzzles me why it still shows the other amount instead of the current one

You can’t sell the car without involving the bank is what I actually meant. If you want to sell the car you have to first request a settlement quote from the bank.

The GTI Outstanding loan Payment was Settled in Full by VW who bought the car first before they could do change of ownership. So in short they settled his loan for him so that he could then sell it to them
