The MOST Important Upgrade To Any Harley Davidson. Custom Dynamics Pro Beam LED

After riding my 2019 Sport Glide for 2 years and 24,000 miles, i just did this upgrade to the Probeams. Was almost killed last week when a VW Bug going about 70 mph came up behind me, in my lane, and suddenly changed lanes before nearly hitting me and then running a red light. My girlfriend watched it happen as she was turning to ride toward home and i was heading to Walgreen's and was stopped at the light waiting. The guy never even slowed down and proceeded through a solid red light, that had already been red for at least a minute. Unbelievable but it was enough to get me to reassess my night-lighting. Such an easy install and for $200.00 it's a no brainer. Lesson learned and I'm very happy with the product.

Within a week of getting my new 48 was change the rear lights over to led’s Actually have had ppl stop me saying how far away they saw me because of better lighting!!! Thanks for all your vids I’ve been putting off changing front light but now I’m going to get all lights on front upgraded!

On my 2019 Roadglide ultra I put every custom dynamics light available for my bike.all smoked lenses. Low pro saddlebag lights, saddlebag fillers,tail light,tourpack side lights and upper 3rd brake light. Front turn signals,windshield trim,headlights. And I ordered the smoked large tourpack light off ebay that matches almost perfectly. When custom dynamics makes that I'll have that too. Around $2,000.00 bucks in lights so far. Of course that doesn't include everything else I've done to it. About $6,000.00 so far and still going. You have the bug yourself. I see it. Congratulations

Here's the thing...I have several motorcycles; one Harley (and about to be another!) and among the others is a KTM 1290 Super Adventure S. Everywhere else in the world the KTM is equipped standard with LED turn signals but here in North America it gets halogen bulbs. Why? I can order the manufacturer's LED replacements and they're a plug-and-play. Instead I spec'd an aftermarket kit for the bike that has white and amber LED boards for the front like these Pro Beams and red and amber for the rears to give me auxiliary brake lights. I don't think it is a DOT thing as there are many newer vehicles on the road with LED lighting. Is it just that the manufacturers only want to give the customer the minimal amount of spec to maximize their profit and induce the customer to spend more on the upgrade? But I'm like you in that I cannot have enough lighting on my bikes. I want to see and be seen. And my Harleys have many Custom Dynamics upgrades as a result. They are excellent products. Back when I had my '09 Street Glide H-D sold a replacement Tri-Bar fender light that functioned as a Run-Brake light. They stopped making it on later models for some reason but I know Custom Dynamics has one. It would really finish off the rear lighting and would definitely aid in getting other driver's attention.

Harley-Davidson has been fucking around still in 2020 with lighting. Competition has switched to led years ago. I don’t know why Harley-Davidson would want aftermarket to steal their thunder like that.

Awesome video. I agree visibility is very important. I did however go with Rogue Rider Industries they work similar to custom dynamics except there is no Ring its a solid white and when you turn on signals or hazards they flash amber ,white,amber, white for constant lighting.

I have the exact same bike, same color, and installed the Custom Dynamics Pro Beam LED lights front and rear as well. I 100% agree this is a must and shame on Harley for not including all LED lights on their Special models. I am thinking of doing the Pro Beam rear fender light which also converts it into a brake light for more visibility. I also have the JW speaker Adaptive 2 headlight on the way. If you haven't looked at it, check it out, it is about 200 bucks cheaper than the new Harley Daymaker Adaptive headlight and am waiting for real world reviews on it before I get it. My wife has a 2016 Fat Boy sport that the JW Speaker light can go into if I get the Harley adaptive light. If you have plans on getting the new Daymaker Adaptive headlight, please do a review on it as I really want to see a real night ride with it to know how good it is.

@@HegshotRides If you decide to go with the JW Speaker Adaptive 2 headlight, be careful as they have a non adaptive that looks identical with the same model number 8790. The only difference is it needs to say adaptive. The adaptive 2 is the latest and greatest and better than the first gen that just says adaptive. If you price shop and see the model 8790 without the word adaptive on it, it is the non adaptive version. I accidentally got that and found out the hard way when the adaptive lights werent working. JW Speaker told me they get customers returning that one a lot as they thought it was the adaptive. Looks like they use the same headlight for both versions and just disable the adaptive function on the main board. Anyway, long reply i know, but wanted you aware and not go through the pain I did lol. Hi im in Australia and I just got my 2019 street glide last week and installed the front probeams but a warning light on my speedo comes up apparently thinking there is a lighting problem so does this happen on yours? love to know..thanks.

Great video, sir! Hey, I have a 2019 Heritage classic 114 and my front turn signals don't act as running lights, but does adding the pro Beams turn them into running lights and turn signals? Just confused a but. Thanks!
