I never understood why the indicator went away when pulling in the clutch on my ‘23 RG… time for an upgrade if only for this feature :)

I'm interested in buying a Heritage. I'm a middle aged, retired, 6"3" 215-220 beginner. What do you think about it for someone like me? I've also considered a Triumph Bonneville T120. What type of gear would you recommend for someone living in a hot humid environment like Central Texas in summer?

I have a 22 Road King Special with no TPMS but even if I did have it, I would check with a gauge now and then anyway. Don’t want to put too much trust on those sensors.

Recently traded my Heritage 114 for a new Roadglide because I mostly ride longer distances. Miss my Heritage.

I have it and at 5’7” you will definitely need to do the 9.5” riser with 1.5 pullback + top tree with another 1.5” pull for 3” total.. I also put the gage relocation with the low rider S gauge. Made it 2up with a 22” sissy bar. So for a 5k you can make your dream bike.. 💪🏽😎

Dude, the run up to your MSF, you showed a clip of a guy not wearing a helmet. The previous safety suggestion.... yup, helmets. I went through an MSF, we wore helmets. But really, great video, thank you!! I have a great rider buddy. He watches out for me, just like you mentioned. And I look out for him. He's a great riding buddy.

Using a touch screen while riding? That's the scariest thing I've ever seen. Riding requires ten times more focus on the road ahead than a car does. I've damn near ridden out of my lane just operating switches on my Electraglide. Road surface tilts slightly one way or the other and the bike follows and you don't feel it.

Took this bike for a demo ride today only had 100 miles. Brand new. This bike is not good compared to others in so may respects. Not a wise purchase. Totally a old mans bike to be hidden in the back of the garage.

Regardless of the manufacturer this isn’t a good review of their product. Hopefully they get it straightened out quickly for their own reputation.

yeah, no. been on two wheels since I was 4 with no ABS, traction control, or other bullshit; I even had to watch for uneven terrain as I learned offroad rather than on a smoothly paved surface! and I recognize that not everyone can go back to adolescence and simply jump on a Honda 50; but please, if you can't confidently operate a motorcycle without safety nannies, don't start on a 900lb bagger out of ego- get a small bike and feel out it's limits for about a year, riding until it feels as natural as walking, THEN you can buy a fast bike or a heavy bagger or whatever else you fancy and have a massively higher chance of not killing yourself or damaging that ego in the first place!

Leather DOES NOT keep you warm when riding in cold weather...it actually conducts the cold, so with no warm lining you'll freeze your ass, but it does block the wind so if you have warm clothing on under it you should stay comfortable...and I don't know what Harley Davidson motorcycles you're looking at but they absolutely have NOT lowered the prices on their bikes!! As a matter of fact most of them have gone up in price!!

Riding with a group of guys tho its great it is dangerous for a couple reasons.. your showing off a bit doing things you might not useually do. And you are watching them in your mirrors asomtimes too much. The riding in groups should be a thing you work towards after alot of disciplne and trainning. M.C's hate wild groups of riders with good reason.

The bike has your back when things go bad, but when the components that have your back fail and force your bike into limp mode until you get to the dealer shop then the bike has your bank account… Thanks but I’d rather just pay attention to the road and strive to be a better rider.

I have had vehicles, motorcycles, atvs, boats through the years and some had issues, some did not. Did have problems with an HD I bought right from the start. HD dealership and corporate were great about fixing it and I was running stock everything. Only after the warranty will I start mod anything on my toys.

Given how many harley riders I've seen duckwalking and struggling just to stay up at a light, they really need to keep their opinions to themselves. what bothers me most about harley is they don't have any small displacement/low power bikes that are cheap enough for the young people today. They also need to do something about the weight.

Maybe have better skills or don’t ride past your ability? If you need aids to ride or drive then you shouldn’t be on the road in the first place your a danger to yourself and others.

I have rode a Harley longer than you have been alive. I ride a fatboy without a windshield. I have an oxblood Joe Rocket 92 leather jacket and don't own a single Harley shirt anymore. I'm not going to advertise for free. Tattoos earned? Trust me getting them taken off hurts way worse.

I wouldn't buy one of these simpky because the screen is obnoxiously large, the rear tail lights look hot glued on, and the coolant reservoir is in an extremely easy to damage location (on an extremely wimpy mounting bracket). I have fixed 3 for friends for the crappy coolant location already. 😂

I've owned three Sportsters, and just never got the whole Harley thing. I did find out that if you could chrome it, leather-fringe it, stud it, put an eagle on it, or middle-finger it, Harley and the aftermarket will sell it, and fools will buy it. So my go to question now is, "if Harley made a plane, would YOU fly in it?!" And another one about helmets: what's the difference between wearing a full-face helmet and no helmet at all? An open or closed-casket funeral...

More than once I've had some moron try to come over into my lane and when I hit the throttle they swerved back into their lane. You were talking about 50 feet. Try more like 5 feet. So I'm just gonna call bullshit on this idiotic study. I drive a truck for a living and they are a lot louder inside than a car. I hear bikes around me without much trouble.

I can say loud pipes have saved lives. On my way to work in the car. Before i thought about changing lanes. I hear the bike in my blind spot. Ok theres a bike ill signal and let him decide if he passes or slows down. He slowed down and i completed the pass. Obviously i'm a rider too. Yes I did check the mirrors and saw him and he saw my turn signal

These old Harley riders do have a problem, it’s the fact they ride Harley’s. The rider aids on bikes that aren’t antiquated work well and can mostly be disabled if they so choose. ABS is lifesaving in some situations even for experienced riders and has reduced accidents on the road.
