Columbus Police recently ran a gun buy back, spending over $100K to fleece Americans of their lawfully acquired second amendment protected property. Literally, they specifically excluded the categories of firearms most likely to be crime guns. 3D printed guns and homemade guns were expressly lined out of the program so people would not exploit the situation.

Yeah.... the problem is in the wording "up to $750", might be worth checking out if you're close by, but I kinda doubt it's gonna be worth it for most people.... unless they're stolen of course, which I guess would be free money..... so it looks like this is definitely setup to benefit criminals.

All "buybacks" should be required to have somebody with proper gun knowledge, an FFL or a gunsmith, present to vet all guns and potentially make a fair offer for valuable ones. These illegal gun buy backs are fencing operation for criminals. First the police can’t legally pay to receive stolen property and then destroy that property just because it a gun. The lack of a numbers check and offering to return the gun to its owner is clearly illegal. Law enforcement often will say the owner of the firearm has been paid for the gun by the insurance company when most of the time the police has no knowledge as to if there was an insurance claim. Furthermore of the arms I have had stolen I would gladly repay my insurance company what I got from them if my guns were returned.they don’t return the gun to the legal owner thats a felony. Furthermore this commission of a felony degrades respect for the police. Particularly by gun owners, why would a gun owner help law enforcement in any way based on their disrespectful treatment of the public. Further a local city or county can’t make the illegal buying of guns legal if it’s against state law, and the police department Chief can’t make a crime legal.

It was $750 for "assault weapons" $500 for 1st handgun, $150 for every subsequent handgun, and 100$ for a shotgun. I turned in a used rough rider I bought for 80$ and turned it in for 500. All the guns that I saw people turning in were cheap junk. They ran out of money in less than 2 hours because some guys showed up with trunks full of budget ARs they probably paid less than 400$ a piece for and got 750$ per rifle.

Hey I dropped like 120$ on the xs sight and that back part labeled "tritium vile" doesn't really illuminate. I can clearly see the front but that back part gives off just the slightest glow. Over all I really like the design but considering the price and comparing it to sights half the price it's not really worth it.
