This video was filmed 3 years ago when Fami was 17 years old and still in school. On October 21, 2022, LOVEBITES announced that Fami had become the band's new bassist. Fami is 20 years old. Some asshole made it his business to suggest that she wasn’t actually playing this live. This upset her to the extent that she basically stopped posting. He was a quite well known KZbinr. As a layman there are some obvious things one notices when watching Fami’s material. Not so much in this one, but in others, she’s very creative, visually. She will switch around image mid track…and back, change clothing, all sorts of stuff. So at the very worst she is playing over a recording….of herself, because she wants us to “hear” her at her best. To suggest she is a fraud has just been proven so wrong by the simple truth that Lovebites hired her. This song is, as you say, ridiculously catchy. I now love it…and the vocals too! Thanks for reacting to this. Lovebites with Fami will produce music on the level above the level above everyone else that they have produced hitherto.

I get that just about anything can be faked on the internet but I would have a very hard time believing that this was fake She clearly knows her way around the fretboard. And the speed and accuracy especially with the tapping is just not something that could be faked I don't know how someone could even believe that

​@@metalzonereactions This youtuber just couldn't believe that a schoolgirl from Japan could play bass so well. 🙄 When LOVEBITES announced that they were looking for a bassist (March 2022) they indicated that " there are no restrictions on age, gender, nationality, professional or amateur." They accepted applications from everyone, from any country. There are many good bass players in the world, including Japan. The selection was strict and took place in 3 stages. Fami went through all the stages and became the bassist of LOVEBITES. Haruna, Midori, Asami and Miyako chose Fami from a large pool of bassists who wanted to play in LOVEBITES. They played with her live in the studio. And if such highly professional musicians decide that Fami is the best for them, then this is confirmation that Fami is a great bass player. As a result : Fami is now playing in one of the best bands in the world, and that youtuber turned out to be a fool. 😂. I suggest checking out LOVEBITES "Bravehearted" ("Daughters of the Dawn~Live in Tokyo 2019").👍 And LOVEBITES "Return with the New Bassist + Bravehearted (Short Version)" with Fami. This can be done in one reaction
