Oh yea, when I was around 9, I was camping with friends when I chased a flock of geese. I was young and didn’t think anything would happen. I was wrong. The male in the group does a 180, spreads his wings like he was Rose from the titanic, and sticks his tongue out while screaming at me. He chased me 75 feet. Never going near one again.

I had a job where a section of the parking lot was taped off because geese would nest there every year. I'm 6'6" 240lbs and even still felt threatened enough that I had to eventually find a new job. Minimal wage ain't worth dealing with angry geese every time you have to take out the trash.

I remember when we were feeding birds at the lake. We ran out of bread (I now know bread is bad). They didn't like that. We got chased around the lake a considerable distance. We got away for a bit, but a duck spotted us and snitched, which brought the whole gathering on us again. Of course most of the death swarm consisted of Canadian Cobra Chickens.

The travis the chimp story is very sad. His owner died. He would hold his owners framed picture and look at it and was incredibly depressed. I think the woman should of given him to an animal sanctuary. But I can understand being lonely after your husband dies.

In regards to geese being just blatant psychopaths, the Canadian goose is a protected species in Canada and it’s apparently illegal to harm one even should it be to defend yourself from one attacking you, if you do you’re supposedly looking at over $1000 in fines and possibly even jail time.
