The TT has been and gone for another year, 2024 saw new winners like Davey Todd and the Crowe brothers, as well as records smashed by Michael Dunlop. It was truly and incredible TT.

I visited the TT in 1967 (Diamond Jubilee) when it still had been part of the World Championship. Mike Hailwood & Co we're racing. And as gar ad I remember the Hotel Bars we're closed at 11 PM. We Had a wonderful week enjoying not only rhe races but also local events like a Meeting of the Vincent Owners Club. At this time the international Community of MC drivers was closer than later.

If you think this is insane could you imagine going round the original course with no tarmac with crap handling bikes with a cork crash helmet on your head or even doing laps with tuned GP bikes with drum brakes front and rear on the later course.

It's a difficult atmosphere to describe when they close the roads. It gets quieter and quieter but more and more intense.

No I just know what I’m talking about I’m 28 this year and seeing lads racing about in t shirts doing wheelies showing off and jumping on back of mates bikes in t shirt no helmet etc makes you more of a man and much cooler than been ooohhh I’m scared I’m gonna wear leathers in 50c heat and wear a helmet and look like a retard me and my mates are real men these are fake
