the most INSANE Switch game finds yet! | January 2024 Game Pickups

This month I had my luckiest switch game finds for the collection! I visited 3 different stores in search of the Best Switch game deals and came home with a lot of gold!
I mainly focus on collecting for the Nintendo Switch, do pick up videos or talk about everything and anything Nintendo related!

At the end of ‘22 i found jumpforce deluxe edition for $25 at Walmart with no plans on cracking the seal…games worth 3x’s that now!!!!! Woot

You will see more of this at Wal*Mart throughout the next few months, as Wally World has announced that they will stop carrying physical editions of games. You're lucky because your local stores are better stocked than the Wal*Marts near me.

These were actually a little further than my local walmarts but still i was very lucky to find these games for sure. I would just say be patient and have persistence and you will find games!

Like you stated many times they don't have clearance on video games but went on the beginning of February and scored big-time at Walmart. I got World War Z $11.21, Rune Factory Special $5.63,Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes $16.88, The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD $22.50, and Metroid Dread $16.88 all on Nintendo Switch! Haven't seen clerance like that in about a year so I was stoked. 🙂

Nice finds especially the dragon quest game for $35. Also, I didn’t know they released red dead redemption for the switch. I’m gonna be on the lookout for that game now

I agree GameStop is a great place for deals but I only shop in person so I can see condition. At Best Buy I find they frequently have clearance games at lower prices than online.

Yes! I only buy games in person for the same reason which is condition. I might have to frequent BestBuy now cause sometime they have games that GameStop or Walmart doesnt carry. Thanks for watching!

Thats one of the sales i missed out on, i tried going to gamestop and they were all gone. Tried to price match at target but they wouldnt allow it. Since then ive made it a missing to check the gamestop app and deals online consistently lol. Thanks for watching!

Glad you were able to score some Walmart deals. There seem to be a lot of $10 deals popping up there, but I know what you mean though about the Switch stuff. I have only seen maybe 8-9 games pop up for $10 on switch, and only about 4-5 are widespread deals. I have been wanting to grab DQ Monsters as well, just haven't found it cheap enough yet. DQ XI is amazing though, hope you enjoy that one!!! I love that mainline DQ games have stuck to the turn based combat and not switched to action RPGs like Final Fantasy. You got some good ones. My local Walmart had Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Kirby All Star Allies, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Advance Wars Reboot Camp 1+2 for 10.00 each. I grabbed Xenoblade 3 and Advance Wars and passed on the others. They also still have Fire Emblem Engage for 20.00. I Might go back and get that one

Deaths Door is really really good super underrated imo. The combat is pretty challenging but super addictive. Awesome boss fights and secrets/items to find too. Visuals are amazing and the music is fantastic. Its not a really long game but its not super short either. I originally got it digitally but I absolutely HAD to get a physical copy to add my collection. I actually have the regular and deluxe edition sealed because I forgot I pre ordered the latter. Its an action/adventure game not a rougelike. The closest game I could compare it to is probably Tunic. If you love Tunic you'll really like Death's Door...

What sort of city do you live in that has this much stuff on clearance?! I only every find good deals when I go to one of the other nearby migrant community cities where games don’t sell much but I never seen anything like this!

Yeah, this walmart was actually going through a remodel so they clearance a lot of games so they didnt have to move as much of the inventory when they moved the department to a different area. I actually went back to that walmart today and will have footage for the next pickups video!

Damn wish I can find some deals like these in my Walmarts near me. Never see any switch clearance. Good games to. Love collecting for the switch. I have all the systems and almost 600 games to it physical. Fun to collect.

Wow....I can't ever find deals at all at Gamestop, Walmart, or the Best Buys in the Milwaukee, WI area. Racine has the only decent Gamestop I know off; I did get Return to Monkey Island on Switch at that Gamestop and a Ren & Stimpy SNES title at a Brick & Mortar store today. I only collect for Nintendo platforms and the Panasonic 3DO. Maybe I'll pop in to my Franklin Wal-Mart because that one and Greendale are the only decent ones around here.

Nice! I love Ren and Stimpy! Nintendo is definitely a great company with great systems to collect for! I would collect for older consoles but i feel like i would go broke😭 Its insane that some gamestop dont have deals, believe me ive been to so many Gamestop/Walmarts in search of game deals and have only recently been lucky enough to find them. Dont give up! Persistence is key!

Yo, someone is getting fired at Walmart. That's a lot of mark downs for stuff that should technically not be marked unless they are getting rid of their inventory cause they are not going to sell games anymore 😮

Lol i hope noone gets fired. I asked the employee why they were marked down and they said that because the store was going through a remodel that they we’re moving the department to another section of the store. So i guess to help move less items to another area they marked them down to reduce the amount of items they would have to move to the other area.

Bro, I went to my Walmart and the guy seen me looking at switch games and he said I’ve got six boxes full of switch games outback that we’re not allowed to put out because we’re gonna be sending them back. I looked through I found multiple copies of Metroid dread for $20 and a bunch of other games for 15 and Wes.

Darn about red dead I really like it but Some nice pick ups and with Persona 5 Tactica definitely recommend it but unfortunately that Naruto game on switch is not the best it was a bit of a let down and dragon quest monsters is a nice find and really liked your vlog filming style it was a very cool video and I’ll stop again soon all the best with the road to 400 legend 🎉

Yeah its definitely random, i remember last year i would go a lot and could never get those clearance games that went on sale so i just stopped. Then i just came to these Walmarts randomly and surprised they had these on sale. It is definitely random, especially for switch games to go on clearance
