I’m Lex Veldhuis, a poker professional and an official ambassador of PokerStars. I have been in the poker industry for 17 years and counting! When I was only 5 years old I got in touch with computer games and got very competitive with beating the games. In 2004 I began with my first online poker games and the rest is history. I have a question --- at 34:10 you say its an absurd call for JTs to call you. But you had a similar call for far greater percentage of your stack with 9Ts. Now is it because you 3-bet that makes your range SO much stronger that makes JT SO much more absurd to call? Even against AK, AQ he's got good equity, 9's etc. He's only in shit if you had Pocket Qs, Ks Aces (he blocks pocket Ts, Js). Not trying to be a chat pro at all btw. Just how I'm interperting the situation, and curious if I am way off and that call is absurd. Espcially given your bounty size and his relative stack size

It’s utterly absurd that he’s cold 4-betting into an UTG open and a chunky raise from the SB with that hand. The play isn’t bad solely because of what he’s up against with Lex, it’s because he’s 4 betting into two super strong ranges and even if he’s flipping with one player it’s a -EV play because he’s gonna be dominated by at least one player more often than not. T9 hand is extremely different because player shoving is doing so against a much wider range (BTN open)

There was nothign similar about that tho xD, it was HU, there was no scenario a 3rd person shoving to isolate him ,he was risking way less money to win the same amount 13/31 =41% eq (u can say there is icm but the bounty and icm take each other out), bullyj0n putted 18bb to win 36 which he needs 50% eq,could get shoved and lose everything withotu even looking at the flop

Call me a fish if need be, I am a winning player, and I do make some wild plays in bounty hunters, but 3 all ins, especially for the 1100 bounty, 6 whole cards pre are going to so alike killing each others outs, 53 suited I’d call 100% if I had 100bbs I’d call and honestly with your hand I’d roll 40 and under call.

I got a great idea. Let’s play fake poker, with unrealistic plays where there is oodles of pot size leads and flop check raises where only pure speculation is the answer because no one does this. One caveat. You have $100 to your name, jobs are not available to you, and no one will lend you a buck. But play deep in these hands though in spots that never existed ever. Because no one does that. Ever.
