I listened to a NDE and the man who died met Father God and the guy had killed animals for pleasure not food and Father God wasnt happy with this as he said to the man "I put animals on earth for people and that people were to take care of the animals", if an animal was killed then was to be for food" the man told how he hung his head in shame and was not able to look up and meet Father Gods eyes. But Father God forgave him and he had to come back, and he changed his whole life. Wish I could tell what NDE that was called, I'd leave it on here, was a very touching story of his NDE. There are several books, comics, documentaries and one old disney movie about the story of Lobo, king of Currumpaw. I do not advice the movie, becouse, fun fact, it is not half as interesting as the real story, they changed all of it, ending included. I do advice the documentary and the comic written by Jiro Taniguchi, both are based in the notes from Seton's journal. You see, Seton did hunt Lobo, but he respected and admired him as a rival, and he did show remorse for killing Blanca and that's why he tried to keep Lobo alive. After Lobo was dead, Seton became a pioner on the fight for the defense of nature, and he is responsable for transmitting Lobo's story

I love everything about wolves, they are my favourite and my spirit animal. My room is covered in wolves; statues, pictures, etc etc. Everyone who knows me behind the screen knows me as "Wolf Obsessed" or "Wolf Girl". Wolves are beautiful and intelligent creatures, who are highly misunderstood. For years on end they have been looked at as the beast of the woods, vile, dangerous, and merciless. Which isn't true at all. Wolves are loving, free, intelligent, cunning, determined, creatures, all of which are a dazzling beauty. Who only attack once threatened and when protecting what's theirs. The story of Lobo and Blanca is touching to my heart and soul. It shows how wolves never give up and nobody can tear their spirit away from them. It also shows how much they can change a person, that hunter stopped hunting wolves for good, and carried the grief of the end of Lobo and Blanca's lives to the end of his own. Decades after the incident.

Well things changed after that. But tbf people in the past needed a solution for a problem. As long as that wolf lived many other animals died and the farmers made out a living. Not going to say its acceptable today which is good, but they just didnt know how to handle that better. The writer of this book was actually a part of the movement which changed stuff. Its great.
