This is a prequel to Outlast 1 & 2. Spoilers for outlast 1 & 2. Unlike this one they are single player found footage story driven games. To keep it simple the overarching plot is that there is a secret shadow company that does all kinds of experiments, mainly of the mind control kind. So in this game, set in the 50's, this company is testing some of their early experiments of mind control. So to create a multiplayer game and keep with the themes of the series you play as a random off the streets person that they use to experiment on. Basically seeing what they can make someone do with mind control. That's why each mission/stage starts with a video, likely with subliminal messages, and the room getting flooded with the green gas causing the hallucinations. P.S. The series is called Outlast because your characters can only hide or run. The 1st was set in a mental hospital that was above a secret underground facility belonging to the shadow company. The 2nd was set in a mountain valley town with a religious cult that went crazy also because of experiments by the company.

Holy Mobility Batman! This looks kinda good🤔 The (whatever they were) had taunts/dialog in a spooky tone that usually doesn't unnerve me, but did and setting was proper creepy. " Come here f___er" and variants of "Mob/Enemy Dialog" were actually memorable for the intensity-and your reactions, (particularly Skilly, hilarous "What the F__K ARE YOU!?", "🎵I need helllllp🎵" , "I Have Psychosis!!", "YES, PLEASE HEAL!!!", and "GONNA DIE AGAINUH!")🤣🤣

I can’t wait to see you guys get to program 3, it’s an absolute blast and I’m sure your editors or you will have a lot of fun blurring out everything! :D This game really is intense, especially when you’re yelling at your friends to move because they’re about to run straight into the enemy or a trap. Highly recommend the X-Ray rig or Stun, totally OP, game gets even better the more you play and level up. Haven’t done the exams yet for each program but hope to do so soon.

Some tips for ya guys that are still struggling to get used to this game.. - Try to be more aware of the surroundings like traps or sound traps(like glass fragments in the ground, hanging noise maker) try to at least avoid it, or you can buy slippers to get immune to glass fragments -also if you seen a door with some mechanical thingy on the edge, it's a trapped door, you can disarm the traps on the other side or open it n duck/ crouch, so you didn't get the trap.. - some enemies are not equipped with night vision, so you can hide in the dark places, just crouch.. Except those gas guy, he has night vision equipped.. -go to pharma place to buy help friends perk, so you can kick ex-pops that are grabbing/mounting your friends.. -if you see propaganda posters/ files, take it, it can increase the exp gain.. -again in pharma, if you have extra green tickets, buy slide.. so u can run n slide under the hanging noise trap, cuz the AI is smart n can detect sound like "In Silence" game.. yeah maybe that's all the tips or useful info that i can give..

Oh yeah, one more: you can mark things like item to notify friends or mark enemies, so you can track them for a while, enemies are marked with red mark on their head, n your friends can get notified too n can avoid them.. 😽👌
