Here's a FF idea: before the GP you and Nick generate a random number between 0 and the max number of points for the GP (eg between 0 and 120 for an 8 race GP) but don't tell the other person. You have to aim for that many points by the end of the GP - closest to their number wins. That way, you don't know if Nick was actually floundering and got 8th place, or got 8th because he only needed 4 more points to hit his number, and vice versa! Maybe the minimum/maximum numbers for the roll can be changed to make it more exciting - like between 60 and 120 for the 8 race GP!

One of the coolest things to see with this room is how much better the skill of Troy's sub base is than it was three or four years ago. It's a mix of competitive players who participate in Mogis and casual players who have just gotten really good for the sake of Troy's rooms and other smaller communities on the scene. It elevates Troy's content a lot, since it means he can run away with far fewer races. Honestly, I'd love to see some more vanilla competitive-ish rooms like this one on Troy's channel because of this.

Man, these were some of the closest and most insane races on flounderfest in a long time! Everybody knew what they were doing kn this room, including screwing Troy over to keep ff going xD Can’t really believe it‘s going to be over soon. To Troy and Nick, what if this flounder fest was a "must win by 2 points" rule? The winner must either win, in Troy's case, 7-5 or in the case of a final event the winner must win two consecutive grand prix games. Just a thought rolling around in my head. If you guys see this. It could keep the series alive a little longer, but there will definitely be an end at some point.

Had an idea (maybe for FF or just a video) but how insane would it be for the CC to change in the race every 20 seconds? You start to do a shortcut shroomless in 200cc then it switches to 50cc causing you to plummet. 😂

FF idea: 24 players, but Troy and Nick use the quacker, everyone else uses the prowler, and Troy and Nick must burn out at the start of each race. The idea is that it maximizes the amount of time Troy and Nick spend in the infamous “vortex” of the middle spots of the 24 player gamemode. I think I suggested this previously but nobody really saw it (other than Cow Man iirc, shoutouts to him :D)

If anyone ends up reading this, I am just saying that I never want FlounderFest to end. It should go on until the end of time, even if Troy and Nick "retire" after this season. Then, the best players of the next generation can keep the tradition going, and they can pass it down to the next generation, and so on. KEEP FLOUNDERFEST ALIVE!

Next FF idea: The Sampler Do a total of 4 GPs (16 races) with 1 GP for each of the four most popular game modes. Maybe something like 1. Item Rain 2. 200CC 3. Blue Shell Mode 4. Random Items The beauty is these 4 events can be mixed and matched at your choosing and doesn't have to be these exact 4 that immediately came to mind.

Wow, great video! I haven't watched all of the FlounderFest episodes, but all of them that I have seen were great. I don't know if you have already recorded the next episode(s), but in case you haven't, I have an idea for the rest of the series. Next episode could be a 16-race gauntlet on the Retro tracks, and if there's one more after thaf, maybe extend it and do a 32-race gauntlet. I suppose it'll lose its allure if you do the same thing, but it was just a thought.

Hey Troy I got to say, you and Nick had a very great time racing against each other on flounder fest for three years, playing as Funky Kong, Daisy, Rosalina, Dry Bowser, Mii, Baby Luigi, Baby Daisy, Dry Bones, it was so epic, and such entertaining, someday you guys could make up on your own decision to maintain changes, when you make your recording videos, you should play CTR Nitro Fueled sometimes, most of the time, it's awesome, it has massive characters, even DLC characters, skins, vehicles, paints, tracks remade from scratch, CNK tracks, bonus tracks, updated items, missile, bomb, bubble shield, electric ball, mask invincibility, potions, TNT box, NITRO box, boost item, invisibility item, and yeah it really does reminds us of Mario Kart Wii, all characters, tracks, Grand Prix, time trials, VS, battle, karts, bikes, especially MKW CTGP Revolution, Hack Pack, Riivolution, texture Nintendo tracks, custom tracks, retro tracks, mods, texture Nintendo mod characters, regular mod characters over Nintendo characters, custom items, but anyway it was so amazing.

FINAL GP SCORE: TROY - 143 points; NICK - 160 points (due to a player disconnection) ; FINAL SCORE: Troy 6 ; Nick - 4 I do feel this was a cheap episode just to keep Nick quote on quote "alive" to keep FlounderFest going which I don't mind but at the same time we shouldn't be giving away free points left, right, and centered (unless it was 6 to 0 or 6 to 1) to give him a chance. However, I do like the concept of an episode of FlounderFest with Troy or Nick getting 2 or 3 points added to the Flounder Counter if one of them win (of course keeping the 7 total points). In addition to, the Bodacious Nation literally ganged up on Troy just so that Nick would win and I personally feel that it was a cheap move to be doing. I know I've watched tons of videos with the Bodacious Nation in them and you guys are really brutal and ruthless more than Nick and Troy are with each other, and I feel you guys need to chill out and stop targeting/going out of your way to ruin their race(s) which isn't that fun/funny to watch at times. I do understand that its a game and if you have a red/green shell or mega mushroom or star that you are more than capable of using said item(s) on other players just so you can finish the race in a better position than before but still.
