Nkrumah won the 1st Presidential Election conducted on 27 April 1960. He won a sweeping 89.1% for the CPP against UP’s 10.9% by JB Danquah. What does plebiscite means? Plebiscite means vote. The Plebiscite stated in the Constitution was the Presidential Election conducted on 27th April 1960. The operative word is plebiscite which you failed to explain.
