Very nice video man! I'm from Brazil and ride MTB here. I'll be in SD in September and would like to ride around like you. Could you show me around?

Man! That’s an awesome ride. Debating if I should get gravel vs aero road. Heard there aren’t enough gravel rides in San Diego. Do you disagree?

there's tons of firerood, single track here in SD. Most if it is in the "county", but you don't have to venture far

Very Nice! I've probably seen you around unknowingly. Cheers

Where in San Diego was the beginning of the video. I am looking for some light areas to ride around. I’m new to the trail scene. Looks like a blast.

Dan, a very interesting to watch video too! Lots of excellent editing worthy of way more views! It's hard to believe that is San Diego. Early on I wasn't even sure if it was in San Diego and started to wonder what city it was in. After watching you get nervous about dropping down a slope and breaking your collarbone, the following phrase comes to mind: "Commit or eat shit"! How many miles was the ride?

Dan Simpson I use GoPro Studio also. I know what you mean about its limitations, but it's rather easy to use. I am exploring another option as well (Video pad). I downloaded it recently, but haven't made any videos with it yet. another KZbinr told me that he was using it and that it's a free download. Thanks for including the Strava track, I'll have to check that out later. I might get surprised about where you're riding. It was cool because it looks like you covered a lot of ground and diverse areas as well as inner-city secret paths that connect things nicely.

He starts at Bachman canyon at the end of 3rd Ave. Then appears in Presidio Park, then Fiesta island. I doubt there is a dedicated bike trail connect these all, but possible riding through streets of course.

I have 3 MTB's and 2 road bikes, I have been thinking about building a gravel bike, you just talked me into it. But, I'm still wondering how you rode that far through SD without seeing a homeless encampment.
