Ooooooo those are lovely! Some really great details, think I prefer the standard upholstery; super video Lee thanks, I can't quite imagine a 8' "extra long baguette" to fill that "boot" ;-)

I had to Google 'World's longest baguette'. At 122-metres, I don't think it'll fit in the Alicanto's though boot!

Really like the caravan. One small improvement that could be made in the future. Instead of the wine rack in the kitchen, what about a slim pull out pantry for herbs, sauces, etc?
@pggp2732 жыл бұрын
I totally agree. It's ridiculous to think the average couple would want to drink all that wine. Were not all drunkards 😀

Thank you. Last year wasn't this particular model known as the *Bailey Grande Alicanto Elvira Unicorn 1* (roughly in that order)

@@TinTent oh fantastic it’s been in order for over 6 months been waiting ages for a look… we loved the last Porto we had…. Interesting to see how much it makes a difference having a larger bed and space lost each side I’m guessing it will be ok…

I bought the Porto last year, it is a great caravan. I didn’t think it could be improved to be honest - but I think the changes to the washroom layout look good, the layout of that area in my current van is slightly annoying because of the shelf above the sink. The tweaks to seating are at the front looks good too and I’m glad the annoying tall, deep cupboard beside the cooker has been adapted. Is it greedy to change your caravan every year ??????
@TinTent2 жыл бұрын
It's not greedy at all. You can't out a price on happiness!
@Cashclever2 жыл бұрын
Do you band your head on shelf in bathroom in last years model we did when trying to wash face I guess I’m greedy than haha
@Cashclever2 жыл бұрын
The improvements I like the most are throw locker under bed as it was a pain to drag chairs throw the van also light on aqua roll side and power lead moving to correct side.. Also the big one for me is spring cushions in lounge area as when sitting up corner I used to sink between cushions…

When I get mine in a few weeks I will do a in-depth video on living with the new Porto I must say I definitely think it’s the best caravan you can buy without question.. the other main reason I like Bailey caravans is the wall boards can’t get damp….

With the increasing price of LPG and inability to top up easily, do you think (& when) the caravan industry will convert to provide an all electric caravan?

What a backwards step? No axle upgrade possible, whereas the previous "Sintra" had 205kg Payload with the "upgrade" sticker. This "improved" model has reverted to the pathetic 154kg payload.

Bailey have some good but lots of bad design features that is why the Elddis Avante is a better option and Buccaneer if you want some luxury extras. Most Avante 840 mid range specs or specials have lots of extras such as BBQ point, external power, large sky / night view panel in roof that opens etc. The Bailey front windows seem cramped to me and also they are expensive compared to the Eldiss Avante that has loads of room for a family. The Bailey has an extendable bed that you can not walk around with less storage underneath, why? Sorry Bailey but you seem a bit dated.
