I love all of these ball review videos as well are your training videos. I do however wonder if you’ve ever made one on building an arsenal for typical house shots since many of your viewers probably are not out on tour.

I would love that! I'm right at that point where I've been doing a lot of practice out of a league (never done a league). I have a Storm I assume entry level ball. I would def like a spare ball and maybe a second strike ball as well but I wouldn't have a clue what to get.

I have the Blackout. It absolutely shreds the pins on light hits. The ball was too clean for me at box and I added a tiny bit of surface.

How does the blackout compare to the Hyroad Pearl? Also, I really like the gem. I use it lane-shined on a house pattern and it works great. I haven't found a use for the exotic yet, but I might take a look at the magic gem. I'm hoping it's somewhat of a side-step from the p2.

Tucking your pinky will help you to not over curve the ball , but you'll pay for it in the long run as it can cause tendinitis and inflammation of the ligaments in your wrist and elbow

It was between that Gem or PI. I went with PI. The Magic Gem was tempting though. I just switched from 14 to 15 lbs. I have the Pi, Infinite, Dynamix, Summit and Rip. What am I missing Brad?

Sounds like you have most of your bases covered with what you have, but if you are looking for something in between the Dynam-x and the RIP, you may want a asymm pearl like Virtual Energy Blackout or a symmetrical pearl like a Zen Gold Label.

I have all 3 balls. I dont like the tourdynam x. It doesn't behave like an asym. The virtual energy Blackout is wonderful. May get another one to drill differently . For the gem hybrid, i have the international version (love it) and recently got the usa version. I haven't been able to throw the usa gem hybrid yet due to the pro shop giving me what they wanted versus what i asked for. So may need to get a new one. Cant weight to try.

I agree. I'm not sure why they are releasing new balls 8-9 weeks into the league season. I understand PBA tournament season is upon us, but new ball sales would have been more popular April-June when folks are looking to replace balls in their bag with newer, stronger, different pieces.
