He was fun to watch and tough as nails. MMA now is more technical as sports often get after popularity, but, it lost it's edge imo. It reminds me of the heyday of nascar where they actually drove real cars and it was the wild wild west, now it's basically all the same.

Tank Abbott is from Tulsa Oklahoma and he used to knock out people on the Oklahoma strip, 61st through 41st. Fistfights where very common (it's Oklahoma y'all) there, my little family made a kinda name for ourselfs down here in the streets and toughman competitions(Don't fuck with them Wright boys) But there was one man my older brothers knew not to mess with straightforwardly, and that was 'Tank' Abbott, better come with a baseball bat, that's all I'm saying.

I liked tank it’s just to bad he couldn’t evolve his game to include cardio and real ground grappling. He could have really had a great career, once people figured him out the loses started piling up. I don’t think he is really trainable he will always default back to the heat seakers which if defended well just gas him out to quickly. Did he ever take on rampage, or Evens, or Lesner, I remember Tactarov who was a much smaller fighter hung with the big guy and eventually locked in a RNC and won the fight.
