26:28 yep I've been through that as well. One ex was caught cheating by two of my friends. So I confronted her and she said she'd screwed 14 people behind my back. Then I kicked her out. About 13 months later, (she never was any good at basic maths), she contacted me to tell me she was pregnant with my child. I laughed and told her it's not mine. Then she drops the line, " I've never been with anyone else, and YOU'VE given me herpes". I looked at her wondering what to expect next. She had that , you gotta believe me, look on her face, so I told her, "well I had inside information about your situation, so I've had myself tested. Not only do I not have herpes but I'm sterile, and you're still a liar". She had nowhere to go from there. Contacted her on Facebook a few years ago, just wondering how she was. She's still a liar.

My ex who I'd dated for about 4-5 years had a habit of lying to try and make me jealous (usually regarding stuff like "psycho" exes seeing us together or that a female coworker at his previous job tried to SA him) or angry (claiming a male coworker called me a slut at our mutual job on a day I just to happened to have scheduled off) and would get upset when it didn't provoke the reactions he wanted. He would throw tantrums and blame it on his autism even though he was clearly high functioning, and tried to gaslight me on multiple occasions by turning the blame around on me or trying to start fights. He also didn't respect my physical boundaries and would cling to me until I kissed him multiple times and would say "I love you" in that tone where you can just tell the person is trying to pressure you to respond in kind, as well as sulked when I denied him the only time he suggested intimate stuff. I found out most of his true feelings secondhand through friends and family he would vent and lie to (my mom and friends said the things he told them didn't seem accurate to my personality or whatever the situation was), but the part that made me feel particularly sick was when one of my friends told me that he pretty much implied he should r*** me if I "don't care that much about s**" and that same night I found out he decided to get drunk and start yelling at me via text that I had "talked shit" about him because those friends had asked for my side and I vented a little bit to them. He tried to gaslight me some more, and when I pushed back and called him out after initially trying to deescalate he sent a text saying he wouldn't be anyone's problem anymore before asking my brother to help him buy a gun. Because of everything going down so suddenly and just being so angry at him I was stressed and crying on a Discord call with my friends (they insisted I call them IMMEDIATELY when I got home from work because they wanted to talk about the recent situation anyway and make sure I was alright), and my mom called the police for a wellness check which led to him getting forcibly getting placed on psych hold for almost a week. I sent him a long text the next evening after gathering my thoughts and explained my reasons for breaking up with him, and he tried to contact and guilt trip me more but I refused to respond and haven't heard/seen from him since. I've been told he also quit our mutual job rather than coming back in after being released from the hospital. Honestly, I'm glad I never moved in with/got engaged to him (he was kinda "subtly" pressuring for both) because I might have genuinely gotten hurt or worse that night. Looking back at the whole thing, I think I was probably AroAce the whole time and just didn't realize it until after breaking off the relationship. It almost feels like I've been freed from chains in a way, having more time to myself where I can relax and recharge rather than feeling obligated to socialize all the time since he always wanted to be around me and at my house TL;DR Ex was a toxic liar who thought about trying to SA me, and when I didn't fall for his gaslighting and called the cops because of his threats he started crying and begging me to talk to him. I broke up with him the next evening after gathering my thoughts enough to write a coherent message, and I learned more about my orientation because of the whole incident. Always remember, kids: the first relationship is rarely the last, and sometimes it takes a breakup to learn about yourself and your mistakes Edit: Sorry if formatting sucks, my hands tend to work faster than my brain so stuff like punctuation and paragraphs end up being pretty bad haha

Had an ex tell me she was pregnant with my kid. I was a devoted father in high school for 11 months of his life before she decided I wasn't helping enough and sued me for child support. One court-ordered paternity test later I walked into a courtroom a father and wasn't when I left. The really sad part is everyone around me thought it was something to be happy about. None of them ever considered the pain I felt losing a child. This was 9+ years ago a few weeks ago my wife gave birth to my son, while I never say it outloud on the inside I consider him my second child.
