As a Michigan fan, I was more angry than hearbroken at his loss due to the fact that JJ got subbed in (even though it was before the fact that McNamara was in the medical tent for this play) since he already fumbled once. I was like "yep, that's game. And I'm fucking pissed." Kenneth Walker was phenomenal in the run, the only way to truly beat him was to outscore him, and Michigan fumbled it away

The BIGGEST mistake of the game was Harbaugh allowing McCarthy to come back in the game after having fumbled on the previous drive. The very next play from scrimmage was another fumble - which resulted in Michigan State taking the lead that won the game.

If I was the Head Coach, I would be saying, "McCarthy, the only way you are getting in the game again this year is in the 4th Quarter during a blowout."

the biggest mistake of the game was the ref saying they were gonna keep the Walker touchdwon because there was no indisputible video evidence and stay with the call on the field. Then the refs up and decided that even though they was no indisputiable video evidence for the strip touchdwon the refs were gonna overrturn their call on the field.

@@michaelzoran harbaugh outcoached the MSU head coach. kenneth walker brought em back, 2 4th quarter turnovers and 2 fumbles overturned on review when in reality you could only overturn one of them if you were the refs. Either you need indisputable video evidence to overturn a call on the field or not. they ruled that they didnt have it on the walker touchdown and then ruled away the strip sack (against the call on the field) when the best angle didnt even show the QBs hands.

It's BEATIFUL isn't it!!! I've been a State fan my whole life, my whole Family when I was young were UM fans. Everything I did working on my Grandfathers Farm, being in 4-H and FFA I dealt with MSU or the MSU Extension Office so I lived through the CRAP YEARS.......I LOVE that Bike Hart is the RB Coach for UM and they got TRUCKED by Kenneth Walker!!! EPIC choke from Hairball...he's the gift that keeps giving....your team CAN'T make substitutions fast enough so you get called like 4-5 times for illegal substitutions.....you're lucky the State coaches didn't run up tempo the WHOLE GAME!!!! EPIC gritty comeback win for MSU!! I'll also admit that the officiating was HORRIBLE both ways BUT MSU got a LOT of favorable calls/no calls......and you know what IDGAF because UM 90% of the time GETS the benefit of the Officials helping them out!!!

I went to MSU for my bachelor's degree and UM for my grad degree. The difference between the two schools and their respective cultures is amazing. Both schools have a lot to be proud of academically, but UM alumni, in general, have such a sense of entitlement while MSU alumni tend to be much more down to earth. Of course, there are exceptions!

I always hold my breathe when the Buckeyes play either of your teams. Hopefully we fair better against MSU than we did Oregon this year. We looked sloppy yesterday against PSU, just like in the loss to Oregon. TBH MSU should jump the Buckeyes in rankings with this win, but that will officially be settled in a couple weeks. I was at that game!! Great game too! I didn't realize Walker had 5 TD's until after the game while listening to the radio of the post game show. I thought we were done on the first 4th down play. But we converted it, then another. Man, I went to Michigan and transferred to Michigan State. This is the feeling I get. Michigan is expected to do well before the game is even played. Michigan State just puts in the effort and comes out with the results from that effort. Great win!! GO GREEN! GO WHITE! GO STATE!

Michigan State needs to enjoy their top 4 ranking, it won’t last long. With the exception of Miami and Rutgers, they have struggled to beat teams. They will have two loses by the end of the year, Ohio State and Penn State both will beat them. If Penn State hadn’t had their QB injured against Iowa, they would have been undefeated when they met Ohio State and ranked in the top 4 (probably #2). The two best teams in the BIG10 are Ohio State and Penn State, in that order.

Michigan really had plenty of windows, but the QB blew a lot of those passes. That last quarter he would look at where the ball was going, lock onto it with tunnel vision, and throw without looking anywhere else. Bad case of tunnel vision.

i go to MSU but i have friends that go to UMich that were here for the game. after their loss they made the mistake of walking through cedar village-where the post-game riots start- to get to their car. they weren’t hurt or anything, but they genuinely were afraid for their safety with all the people screaming “little brother” or just blatent obscenities inches away from their face. but yeah the only reason this game was a noon game instead of a night one was because of the intensity surrounding the rivalry

LSU just has over 100k+ wasted people on campus at the same time. There’s occasional fights but it really depends on how the game goes. Like when LSU lost to Alabama 10-0 in 2016, there were a ton fights on the streets afterwards. Cops were fricking everywhere.

@@herogibson if you’re talking about the Syracuse RB, yeah he has more yards but against who? Interestingly enough, I did some digging and Syracuse played one B1G opponent. Rutgers. Walker had 223 yards, Tucker (Syracuse RB, 54 yards). U of M had the #2 defense going in and Walker put up 197 rush with 11 pass yards and 5TDs.

The UP really should consider blasting the Mackinac Bridge and seceding to Wisconsin.

College ball is fun in terms of its fast pace full of errors game but in reality the game really isn’t that good to watch in football terms . You have a few genetically gifted talent skilled dudes slapping the dust off most college players who just aren’t that good and will never be pro caliber players. In the nfl a lot of the players that slap in college fade into irrelevancy because everyone is gifted talented and skilled and now it takes football IQ. Something that’s almost completely absent in college ball.

Technically they are still alive for the playoffs, even if they don't win the Big Ten. If MSU wins the East and Michigan wins out, they will definitely be in contention for the #4 spot. Also, MSU could lose twice and give Michigan a shot at the East title still.

When Harbaugh was hired on, he was paid more than Nick Saban (9 mill/year vs 6 mill/year).. In the last 6 seasons Sabin has won 3 National Championships while Harbaugh has gone 0-6 vs OSU, 3-4 against MSU, 2-13 vs Top 10 teams and 2-7 in Bowl Games---can someone please explain why he still has a job and they pay him that much?

@@kippmitchell507 bruh...osu obviously has one of the best recruiting programs in the nation, michigan's program + athletes are just not as good and probably never will be. it's not harbaugh's fault that they're always inferior. don't you see how the same exact teams end up in the playoffs every year? always alabama, georgia, osu, clemson, etc. they just simply have better programs and better players. and actually, i'd say michigan's had a pretty decent season so far, made it this far without losing a game (and mind you not every game's been easy, remember nebraska?). mich state has a good solid team this year and an outstanding RB, and michigan played them on the road which is always harder. the fact that the loss wasn't worse than that with all the mistakes they made + the bad play calling is a miracle. i'm just so sick of everyone blaming harbaugh for the team's misfortunes when honestly, a lot of factors played into that loss yesterday, and it wasn't just mediocre coaching.

It's funny how everybody expected Michigan to win but Michigan State ends up taking it away. That was a costly fumble by Michigan.

i go to MSU, and we were all deadass certain we were gonna win this game. even when we were down by that much, the entire student section was still going crazy.

That 4th down pass to Reed was the play of the game in my opinion. If MSU doesn't convert that and then score this game could have been lopsided.
