Genuine positivity and hopefulness isn't particularly "algorithm friendly", unfortunately. So, once again: Thank you for watching if you did! Take care.

I am hopeful that the Algorithm is healing because I was recommended this video.

I love this framing of hope as a type of intelligence. (Or perhaps a type of wisdom?) Hope is a really important topic! There's also a video called Hope by the youtuber Anark which I think is quite good.

I was the same way, except I would feign optimism on the surface but internally despair. I think hope is something that has to exist detached from outcomes, otherwise it becomes entangled and conditional. I've been nurturing my hope recently after a long battle with psychosis. Thank you for your video!

It's been awesome hoping again. I've been struggling with my mental health for the last several years. About 2020. I reached out to talk about some of my darker thoughts. I've taken steps. like forgiving myself and learning to feel again. If I had to hypothesize on what broke me out of my cycle was. I stopped trying to think my way to a good feeling. People can be so irrationally dumb. Which usually leads to people hating on something, because they have never taken the time to understand it. So if people can hate irrationally why should I try to make it make sense. I can be happy without reason. I couldn't beat hate with reason so I decided that the best thing was to love and be hopefully. Hope doesn't make sense. there is so much bad and time and time again as individuals and as people we fall short. Why hope? It makes me feel better. Hope is something you give yourself during the dark times. I know it's still hard to be hopeful at times. learning to cultivate it for yourself can be a challenge. However when it does bloom, it's almost as if you're a kid again =)

This video made me truly realize why I am in the process of becoming a police officer. I am hopeful, damn near sure, I can make difference in the community and policing as a whole.

Hello fellow internet stranger, might I interest you in a video called "Police: Reform? Defund? Abolish?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5yVqY17nNSFm6c Also this video from a former police officer "How Law Enforcement Taught Me To Dehumanize" kzbin.info/www/bejne/fouWhIaEf66EaM0si=j1TUqGUYROH9gX17 I really respect that you want to make a difference in the community, but in my opinion you'd be choosing a path that would put you on the wrong side of that effort. I know you have no reason to respect my opinion, but maybe the videos will give you some food for thought.

@LuckyBlackCat I respect your opinion. I hope the paths we choose even remotely succeed in making the world a better place.

Really good work as always. I know you may not receive a ton of views or income from this one but it really affected me. Thank you!

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. I know when I was younger, I probably would have found this video too preachy, and unrealistic because I found optimism off-putting and unapproachable. So, I am happy to hear it stuck for at least somebody!

Hahaha, bold of you to assume I ever had hope.
