I can't believe what God is doing. This is the most money I have ever grossed in one week on any job I've ever had. I am so happy to be sharing my journey and hopefully inspiring those who need inspiration. I honestly can't believe what God is doing. This is a life changing journey. If you're getting into this business do not be scared to call or go in person to work with these customers directly... Especially if you're local, they will appreciate a local partnership. You will cut out the broker saving them money and cut out the broker and dispatcher for you putting more money in your pocket. Getting dedicated lanes is where the money is... If you're doing Gigg work you gotta think outside the box to be successful in this business... IE at the delivery dont be scared to talk to a Logistics/Warehouse manager about getting them rates on their lanes and exchanging information and networking, its an easier conversation. I was a broker for 7 years and recently purchased a cargo van and had my customers lined up prior to getting involved. If you have questions just ask! Godbless and goodluck.

That's what I'm in the process of doing now. I've been a company driver class a cdl for 13 years. The company just moved this week and I have an hour to drive to work and there's been tons of personnel changes and it's causing stress in my life. I'm about to get my llc today and file for my own authority so I can book loads off the load board and haul freight on top of the gig apps. And I have hazmat on my license so I believe that opens the market up. I've already been talking to the companies that I deliver to and have relationships with to try to get business.

Yes, you need all those write-offs for tax purposes. I paid zero taxes my 1st year because I had enough write-offs / expenses.

I get offers, but pay is so low that I constantly deny them. Several long-distance and out of state loads. Local ones always come out, like 4 am or 11 pm at night. Not worth making $30 for those.
