this is the one of the VERY FEW times i expand my thoughts in the comments. I think the games presentation on war is PHENOMINAL and sadly i got rolled so it wasn't the best experience of development. However even though this game puts a really good presentation on war it lacks in gameplay and overall mechanics... There are a lot of good FPS / TPS components missing from the game which in my opinion ruins the experience for me atleast. I understand the game is trying to be more RP like but as a person who enjoys more arcade style shooters this game just simply isnt for me. I can respect the message it has on war and how it effected those who were in it / currently are in it but the games mechanics need some serious work. Would love to make a part 2 if things change w/ the game. :) (now enjoy the rest of your day)

most shooter games based on wars just show you the combat aspect, but this shows you more, like how the atmosphere and peoples characters get more depressing, and how you have to catch rats and fill your bottle with muddy water to survive, that is what makes it different and more unsettling than most other war shooter games.

back when the day it released i think it had gas and it was only way to get it is to wait 3 waves and the attacker can realease it to only way to live is the gas mask sadly it got removed cause of "family friendly"

What do you mean the guns are not that terrible? They are the worst! The chipmunk voices when you talk is very annoying. The thirst bar makes me want to suicide. It even shows the alert when the war is already over. Its annoying during actual combat. The anime and cartoon faces are eye sores. The game is overall mediocre.

By the way, if you get 40 points over time (which is about 30min - 1hour of non-consecutive playtime depending on how good you are), you can buy a better rifle which shoots nearly perfectly straight, 15 rounds and 30 reserve capacity, and even way better damage. Just a direct upgrade and very good. And that's just the next cheapest weapon, you can buy absolute broken weapons if you have more points.

You completed it in 3 rounds, but you can go to the 6th round and it gets darker and sadder every round. From round 4 I believe you can use chlorine gas and you'll have to equip a gas mask to not suffocate. It may seem cruel, but it's very cool actually. Not irl tho...

WW1 guns are very accurate. I got at Swiss K1911 rifle, perfect accuracy first shot. Perfectly sighted in even after being shipped to a diff country.

@@braybraymaster77 yeah the unlockable guns in the game are near pinpoint accurate for the most part, and they are actual guns. however your starter rifle isn't a ww1 gun. its not even a real gun at all. its just a generic rifle. its just called "rifle" in game and the description even acknowledges that its bad and that's an intentional design choice. making the player start out with garbage was a intentional choice.
