I've just binge watched an hour of your videos, and I am hearing a common thread: complacency. - They went alone. - They knew the place like the back of their hands. - Their colleagues didn't act because they said it was likely "unforseen circumstances, like weather or terrain." - Nobody worried about them or these "circumstances." And WHY are they going alone to extremely remote areas of the "park"?!? It's not a park, by the way, it's the wilderness. Wild 😮

I spoke with the Rangers in Glacier N.P. when I was stationed at Whitefish, Mt. in the U.S.B.P. concerning personal safety when out and about in the park. Their response was quite interesting. They stated that they wouldn’t be out on foot without a heavy caliber rifle such as a .375 H&H Magnum. When I asked about “Bear Bells” they laughed and and stated, “We call them Dinner Bells.”

After reading a few comments, I'm VERY skeptical of these "cases". If they're all true, who would keep doing the same things over and over again? No firearms, no GPS, no locators, no body cameras that are capable of sending and recording in real time. If this is happening to Rangers, why is the general public allowed in at all!?

The story about the ranger going missing for a year is bull. Siddhant Vitthal Patil is the name of a visitor who was hiking in the park and drowned last year. And the picture you used is not even him, he wasnt a ranger. Are you just like making up stories or what? WEST GLACIER, Mont. [August 3, 2024] - After weeks of searching, rangers at Glacier National Park believe they have recovered the body of 26-year-old Siddhant Vitthal Patil from India today after Patil fell into Avalanche Creek on July 6, 2024, and drowned. Clothing and gear similar to what, according to friends, Patil was wearing at the time of the incident were also recovered.

I agree I think what ever it is uses trees why foot prints and the human scent just stops and dogs can smell predatory scent and if not what they are use to such as bear, mountain lion , wolf they are smart enough to not deal with it for their own self protection.
