Love, love that headband wig's texture. After getting my hair relaxed every two months for 27 years, I really wanted to go natural so that I could have healthy, chemical-free hair. But I always made excuses for not doing it. But two years ago, I finally went natural because I wanted my son's three, mixed-race daughters to be proud of their heritage (their mother is from Bolivia and thinks only straightened hair is beautiful). I want them to see their Queen Grandmother model being comfortable in her own skin and loving her kinks + curls so that they will accept ALL of themselves. I'm in San Ramon, CA

Hi Iyda! My name is Rachel and I’m based in Maryland, USA. Honestly, being natural has so many benefits from health to variety of style options...but I think the number one reason why I love being natural is that it reminds me of how diverse we are as a people. Not many people know that black people are the most genetically diverse group of people ON EARTH! Our textures and skin colors are so beautiful and unique. I wouldn’t trade in being natural for anything.

I love being natural because it feels like another area of myself where I can just Love me for me. Self acceptance and self love is something I've been working on, and letting my natural hair grow in has helped a lot! I honestly went natural to begin with because I had a really bad relaxer incident such that my scalp and face got burned during processing. I said to myself, is this really what I want to go through for straight hair expectations? Not anymore. I'd rather go back to the cute bon bon hair days of my youth than to get hurt for beauty. I'm from Florida, USA

Hi Iyda! This wig is so gorgeous! I appreciate that it mimics my natural hair. I decided to go natural because I felt like it was time to explore and learn about my hair. The journey has had its ups and downs. I love being natural because my confidence is coming from how God created me. It took a while to see me own hair as beautiful and I am glad I got here. Wearing a unit like this will allow me to continue embracing my natural beauty while protecting my hair. Thanks for offering this wig to us. With love.

Hi Iyda! My name is Phyllis and I am rocking my coils in Livermore, CA. I went natural after I began hearing of so many Blacks being persecuted just for leaving their hair in its natural state. (Yes, I'm a rebel). I was outraged because that is sending the wrong message--that the hair that grows out of our scalp is unacceptable?? !* No! Surprisingly, going natural has been a path towards authenticity and increased my self love--I had to ask myself some hard questions. Becoming acquainted with my nappy hair and its needs involved a lot of trial and error and I am so in LOVE❤️ with my coils and kinks that I wish I had gone natural sooner!

I love being natural because it teaches me more about me. I learn about my different textures, porosities, and course level. I live in Sacramento, CA. My favorite hairstyle was the last one; the waterfall. Also... You are the the KZbinr that has the most similar hair to mine. Your curl pattern is very different, but the properties of your hair are very similar to mine.

Oh how beautiful is that multi-textured hair wig and you are gorgeous in it! My name is Alexandra and I reside in California and we are melting in this 107 degree weather.🥵 I took the plunge and went natural because our hair is MAGIC--the styling versality is amazing. I finally learned how to take care of my hair and I love it--even on days will it insists on doing its own thing. Will never put heat or chemicals on it again.

Hi Iyda, My name is Stephanie and I'm from California, USA. What I love about being natural is the flexibility of my hair: blow outs, stretched styles, twists and wash and go. When I started out, there was a learning curve of how to take care of my hair. I couldn't tell if my hair was moisturized or what products worked best. But over the years of watching many influencers, my hair is healthy. What prompted me to go natural was many years of relaxers that finally did not agree with my hair and my scalp. There's nothing I love more than my hair than when it's moisturized and shows my curl pattern. Now that I'm older my hair is thinner and the fullness of my natural hair hides this fact. I love it!

Beautiful texture. I went natural because it was impossible to find a stylist in Minnesota could keep up with my perm and how I use to get it done beautifully in Jamaica. I find it healthier to stay natural, as well as my curiuos daughter motivates me to stay natural, she loves her curls. Your Minnesota supporter.

Hello from Ali in California. What a gorgeous wig and my fave style you created was the first one with the black, sequined headband! I decided to go natural due to a hair-coloring service gone bad. I quickly fell in love with Freda (yes I named her LOL)--my beautiful, stubborn, 4-different-textures natural hair because she is so versatile, loves attention, is liberating and has a mind of her own. Freda is requiring lots of TLC right now due to another setback and I am determined to love her back to good health.

I am so glad I found your KZbin. I have finally found out (through watching your videos) My curl pattern-wavy, curl type-2C, porosity an width- medium, and density is low. 4hrs ago I would have been completely lost if someone ask me any of that about my hair. You have inspired me to take my hair down out of a bun and try healthy products for my hair and rock it😆THANK YOU sooo Much. I would love to pay it forward to a child at S.Judes hospital. It's a hospital dedicated to find a cure for cancer. The treatment (all of it)for the children is paid solely by donations. I would love to be able to help a child feel better an lift the families spirits as well.

Hello I love being natural because at my age, 55 low maintenance is very important and I prefer not to sit in the salon for hours on end to get my hair done. It love doing my own hair as a natural, it’s my time to really give myself that self-care. My co-worker who had been natural for years, inspired me to go natural because my hair was thinning and breaking and the relaxer was horrible for my scalp. I’ve been natural for over 6 years now and never turning back! Thank you for all of your informative videos. I’m from the US from Champaign Illinois.

Hello everyone, I’m Joy from California USA. I went natural because of the decades of relaxing my hair caused so much thinning, especially as it got longer towards pass the neck. I wasn’t experiencing any healthy results from years of chemically treated hair and honestly I felt my straight hair wasn’t versatile enough. In order to resolve all of this, I decided to go natural about 5-6 years ago. Going natural brought me back to my childhood when my mom would sit behind me with a glass of water, boar brush, J&J baby lotion. It was a bit nerve racking because I couldn’t remember my curl pattern and if I had the skills to maintain natural hair. With help from your channel and others, my hair is much stronger, healthier, and growing like weed. It does bring back memories, and yes, natural hair for me is a lot more work than I had anticipated, but there’s no way I would go back to harsh chemicals knowing what I know through proper hair education and educators (like you with low porosity hair especially). Thank you!

Luv luv luv the wig texture. I stumbled on this channel looking for a way to hydrate my hair. I want to Master my own hair so I can wear it in a wash and go. It’s been a goal of mine for a long time. I went natural out of curiosity and for self satisfaction. Curiosity because I had forgotten what my natural hair looked like after years of relaxers & self satisfaction because I experienced terrible discrimination at work after wearing my natural hair in a big chop. Workmates begged me to relax again. This happened in the Caribbean. I now live in Maryland USA but no matter where I go my experience is the same. Society is uncomfortable with our natural hair. I think the more we wear our natural hair, the more it would be understood and accepted.

Hello! Thank you so much for your videos. Very Informative! My name is Nicole G and I live in GA. The reason why I went natural was because my hair was thinning from the use of the relaxers. My hair was damaged and lifeless. Since I permed my hair since age 9, I didn’t know what my natural texture was like since we were all taught that natural hair is bad hair. So I started the journey to return to my natural hair. I’m glad I did. Thanks!

I love being natural because I have been able to really learn my hair. What it likes, what it doesn't like, what product I should try because of my porosity. I was like I started a new relationship and fell in love😍. My inspiration came from my hair constantly breaking from the tight weaves I used to wear. I lost a lot of length and health. It took me awhile but I just started over in 2016 when I did my big chop. New York City, USA 🇺🇸

I just love seeing my natural hair flourish. I went natural because the last 2 times I put a perm in my hair and went to wash it out. It was rock hard and had to use shampoo to soften it & get it out. Both times I had the image from the movie What’s Love Got to Do With It in my head, where her hair came out in clumps because of a perm. LOL I said nope ever since. That was 11 yrs ago. I’m in Maryland, USA

Hey, I'm from Toronto. It's been almost 10 years since I permed my hair. Perm only softened my hair and it was never bone straight. I figured why bother with perm and I had a lotnof breakage. I use to flat iron my hair and even stopped that. After finding your KZbin special on low porosity hair, I've been getting more in tune with my hair needs. There's a lot more options since I'm natural. It blends well with wigs and hair clips too. I've never tried a headband wig and would love to. Thanks for sharing all of your tips!!

Hi, Great video you look so cute in the wig. I liked all the styles but my favorite look was the very first one. I love being natural, although it's only been 2 years. There have been challenges on both sides, but i definitely prefer being natural. I would love to win the wig and give myself a new natural look for the upcoming season.

I hear you say this natural and realistic looking my concern is whether or not it's real hair. There are too many companies out here taking advantage of the black communities around the world and using nasty chemicals in fake hair that they are creating in order to attain a certain look. We are not aware of what those products are completely but in order to make something synthetic look real you do the math. I am researching presently what happens in the hair industry and how these people get rich off of the black communities. If you go to the Jewish community and go to their wig stores they will not allow a certain type of hair to cross their threshold what I mean by that is they will not allow low-grade wigs or synthetic types of wigs that go through certain processes. Number one they are Jewish European Jewish not African black Jewish. So there is a difference in the product type in which they are looking for they also know which companies are trustworthy because they only shop with one or two companies keeping the money in their own communities. I would be very happy to see the black communities begin to create wigs for black people by black people and from black people there are many black people out here with a lot of hair and they continue to get their haircut on a regular basis I don't understand why they are not donating their hair to the cause for black communities and black hair products instead of throwing the hair away. White people do this Asian people do this, they sell their hair. And the Southeast Asian people as well that includes Indians from India, whether they donated give it away sell it or whatever I would like to see more of the black communities doing the same thing

One more question is the headband made of a satin material. Because I don't want to go through all that moisturization just to lose it all in the headband that's made of cottons and nylons and poly type materials that would soak up every bit of moisture from my hair to my scalp
