I think he's dark elixir because the archer and barbarian are elixir while the heros are dark elixir, so they reversed it for the warden too

I think he's too new for casual players to see his potential, pros use him a lot especially with beefy troops since he has no health cap and when dropping life gem on warden for other equipment since life gem is kinda useless for beefy troops anyway since it's capped at like 700+ hp which is only like 10% of a rootrider but apprentice warden does like 30% regardless so any troop over about 2400 and it's better to use the apprentice and swap life gem for something else

Hes a little neglected. But he's seriously good after the hero abilities came out. We can have both the rage gem/healing tomb and a smaller life aura which is absolutely huge.

How come his aura would be worse than Grand Warden's? His aura does not have any limits on health boosting, making him a very good support to high hp troops especially heroes. In any armies with sui hero or tons of high hp troops, apprentice warden is always a good option. Your root riders, BK, AQ, Electro Titans are far more tanky than before.

I'm a th13 and I like to use the apprentice warden alongside my queen charge in my hybrid army. Since they nerfed the queen with the addition of hero equipment, she has less hitpoints and the apprentice warden makes she shey stays alive just a little longer. More can definitely be done with him.

Maybe they didn’t buff him knowing that he will be OP when the equipment come out. And not being used as often isn’t being neglected he was being used in higher town halls. It’s like saying that the golem/witch is being neglected and just forgetting that they are being used so much in the middle townhalls. Thinking about it this video doesn’t rly make sense if the apprentice warden is neglected then what does that make the giant? The giant rarely sees any play after u unlock the dragons and balloons. Or the wall wrecker once u have the log launcher unlocked

I would say the thing he needs most is maybe a little more range for the life aura. Increasing the amount of hp given from the aura would be very tricky as it doesn’t have a side cap like the wardens gem.

With introduction of hero equipment, Warden hero got a lot of new cool features that requires removing life gem. Also Apprentice Warden have much stronger aura(28% of troop max hp for Apprentice Warden/+725 max troop hp for full level(18) life gem equipment on Warden hero). Only 20 troop capacity and jump over walls! Perfect unit to support your army and give you ability to replace life gem on your Warden hero🙃

I prefer apprentice buff over the warden buff for big troop attacks. This also didn’t take me anytime to realize. Now with Wareen equipment out it’s even better

The apprentice warden works great with the main army if you have the healing and eternal tome equipped on the grand warden to help provide the troops with more health all game after the abilities of the warden have been used and no longer provides any benefit afterwards

That apprentice warden is good as it have alot like alot more potential and good use as most th 13 players use double tome on their warden, so basically the mini warden is a substitute for the life gem although not that good as the original.. this is surprising. i see apprentice wardens all the time in my clan, he's used with most ground armies. He gives more hitpoints than the grand warden's life gem does to higher health troops like root riders and etitans, and also allows you to bring the rage gem or healing tome instead of the life gem and still get a health boost for your army. i use him all the time, he's great.

Best use for them is as their own strategy. Put them with a queen walk and the walk is unkillable and has significantly more damage. I use 6 of them with 8 healers add 3 to a charge with 5 healers and its genuinely op. Then on another side of the base after the eagle is down do a warden walk with the others. Skeleton spells rage and invis to keep both charges alive headhunters for heroes rc+ drill for backside/core king for cleanup with some cleanup troops Legit strat it just massively speeds up the walks which is their only weakness. Also the hp buff it gives to big troops is significantly bigger than what the warden's life gem does.

Flat 30% HP Boost will always be better than a 90% HP Boost (with a 700HP Cap). If your troops have more than +3,000HP. Its why the Life Gem Equipment is considered Low Tier compared to most Equipments.

I use him 10 times per day with my s bowler smash army. Great troop, you don't know what you are talking about. And please stay consistent with your voice, you go up at the end of lots of sentences and that sounds very unpleasent. This is just practical advice, don't take it personal, you can make better videos if you do some speaking and voice practice. Afterall still a kind of well made video, so only love from here on :)

Apprentice warden breaks the idea of "new" troops since this troop isn't new, it's just a worse version of the grand warden. People look forward to new troops and when I saw that it was the apprentice warden, I can't lie I was disappointed. The last few troops have felt this way, I miss the days of revolutionary troops like the yeti, headhunter, and the miner.
