5:59 the hellwing bow has a special attribute. You know how when a projectile pierces an enemy, the next enemy in line will take less damage, and so on? The hellwing bow just kind of doesn’t do that. It’s a piercing weapon with zero damage dropoff. Every worm enemy should be thanking the high heavens that it’s so inaccurate.

This was really cool to watch! A challenge run i always like to see is the Fisher. 1. You're allowed to craft needed items to progress (accessories , tools) 2. You're only allowed to use weapons you fish up or are nautically themed , ore you get from crates are fair game, but you can't mine. 3. You have to craft / get every fishing rod and display them 4. Complete the Angler quests , you are allowed to use Angler items. 5. Craft the Shellphone 6. Get all of Duke Fishron's drops. 7. Defeat Moon Lord. I also like Engineer 1. can only use tools, explosives, sentries, and traps to do damage. so your base is a bunch of traps and like a huge farm to deal with enemies. bosses are lead into elaborate trap set ups

Yes please please do a fishing challenge. I know it’s weird but I absolutely love fishing (genuinely) I get excited finding the stuff for the potions and growing the flowers and everything about it. Figuring out where to go and how to optimize makes me focused. I really enjoy it and would love for a fishing challenge.

I actually did this same run myself several months ago! It was a lot of fun, so i figured i'd give my own two cents on it -I went with a crimson world, but I actually ended up grinding the Hoplite armor from the marble biome. Much better drop rate, and the set bonus giving knockback immunity meant i could save a precious accessory slot -Queen slime gave me a ton of trouble myself, I ended up going out of my way to farm a daedalus stormbow for it. -There is actually a set of wings you can get in early hardmode, the angler wings! They have a 1/70 chance to drop after your 10th chest (just don't tell anybody that i decided to skip the RNG grind and spawned in the wings after my 11th quest) -Old One's Army gear was genuinely fucking amazing in my run, I made sure to specifically save up medals for when I unlock the next tier. The tier 2 stuff was already very nice to have. But more importantly, after my first Golem kill, i wanted to fight him again for the picksaw, and grabbed the valhalla armor and ballista staff while I was at it + some more sentry accessories, and I'm not even exaggerating when I say that the Golem fights went from a 2-3 minute slog to a 30 second steamroll. Plus Betsy dropped wings and some weapons that carried me through the rest of the run (also, pro tip, sniper rifle is crazy good for old one's army) -I don't think I ever ended up fighting the Empress, let alone during the day, so hats off to you for getting the terraprisma

you should absolutely do a fishing playthrough. also, i know its a lot of work, but don't cut out sections (or if you do, dont make it as obvious, or find brief clips from that section tat are beneficial). i loved this video though. genuinely one of the funniest vids ive seen in a while, you're sense of humor is unmatched in my eyes.

you are absolutely correct about the queen slime take imo. spawning a billion monsters that shoot a billion projectiles that are small and can easily blend in with the background and do a huge chunk of your health is not fun to play against at all. it especially sucks that one of the drops is a really good summon weapon, as most of the common summons for the stage of the game where you fight her are terrible at dealing with flying enemies (aka the entire boss fight in phase 2) unless you go out of your way to fight the dreadnautilis before you probably should.

Here's a good tip for queen slime: a majority of the projectiles come from the additional slimes, take care of them first and you'll have an easier fight. Now you'll die knowing every death was entirely a skill issue!

Another option pre-hardmode that doesnt rely on the world evil is the ancient cobalt armor that drops from some jungle enemies. It would be a more mage focused pre-hardmode so your weapon for the wall would probably be the fire flower or the flamelash

Fishing actually has a tonn of useful things that you technically don't craft. Yeah, you can't craft a fishing rod, but you can get one relatively early in the jungle, the green one, fiberglass or so. Then the mechanic sometimes sells one, and the travelling merchant sells a duck one if you're lucky. But really all you need is any rod and then grind the best one alongside everything you need for fishing from the angler. And yeah, in hardmode one of the rewards is somewhat decent Flipper wings

he probably could've made life a lot easier if he just used wings. you can get the jetpack after any mech, leaf wings post plantera, steampunk wings post golem, then depending on which farm you prefer there's fishron, empress and betsy wings for endgame. you can also fish up frog legs or go for werewolf or balloons for more vertical speed, and if you have wings then regular hermes boots are fine but you can use unicorn for horizontal speed anyway

It was really fun, forced me to think outside of the box a bit and use some weapons and armor I normally wouldn't use for my playthroughs. I did mine on expert mode since master mode seemed tedious, but I may give it a swing again at some point on master mode in the future.
