A lot of games are repetitive. Games like squad and PR are repetitive in mechanics, but highly varied in game to game stories because of other players and the big team oriented aspects of the game. The finals is a competitive shooter with no variance at all. Unlike counter strike or valorant where story and variance is built through a round to round economy where you build out your weapons and gear, the finals is the same round over and over again with no change in build and no change in stakes across multiple games. That was my point
