its all fun and games until the SU27 has to actually dogfight (it will loose to just about everything) also tip for launching R73s/R27T/ETs at targets who are flaring: use your radar to lock onto them and then launch. This will help the missile to ignore the flares upon launch :)

severe damage is given when you rip more than half of a wing, or completely black-out the engine, probably that dude just set that gripen on fire but didn't kill the engine completely, and so there you go, a full kill
