When you tech roll you get up in a While Standing state, so you can do WS+3. If you're fully grounded, you can tap up and then input a kick button to get a WS move (doesn't work with punches).

@@gwdofdestruction The kick-only stipulation is specifically for when you're tapping up to get off the ground, not for tech rolling. Punch buttons won't do anything in that case. I also forgot to mention that you need to be face down, and you need to delay the button slightly. It's pretty odd overall.
