This is one of those things that can’t be done too often and for the price, doing it more often than GM calls for is not really a problem. Especially if you live in a dusty or pollen filled environment.

I do remember changing 4 years ago before I was sidelined. AND the best part is that it's Idiot Friendly. I don't need or want User Friendly; I want Idiot Friendly. But once I'm done with your video, I'll crawl out to my garage and take a look. Even it still looks fresh, which it should because it hasn't been driven more than 200 miles in the last four years, I'll change it anyway. My garage is HVAC controlled, so there shouldn't be any mold. Thanks again for an incredible topic and then demonstrating how to change the filter. Justin page 316 in the service and maintenance section of my owners manual states that the passenger compartment air filter should be replaced every 24 months or 22,500 miles whichever comes first. This is for the 2024 C8.

I would definitely recommend doing it before then especially if you live in a dusty or pollen packed area.

Some cabin filters are heavier than others, which dramatically changes the cars weight. That's why here in Hialeah florida, we bypass the cabin filter. Ac blows harder and less resistance on the blower motor. Resulting in the alternator having less resistance on the motors crankshaft, giving all kinds of horsepower. Also remove the intake filter. More bugs get sucked into the combustion chamber Making the combustion chamber smaller creating more compression 😮

Great idea for particulate removal. Uh, there is a major onslaught of aftermarket items for the C8 series and nobody is talking about them if their channel is not sponsored. The international supplier CAR SEAT market has changed RADICALLY, and oh yes you can get dang close to the hypercar market or BETTER as a individual consumer. Just a heads up.

Is the C8 Z06 cabin air flow direction different? My cabin air filter was pointing towards the frunk when I took it out the C8 stingray.

I just watched 3 other videos and all of them have air flow pointing towards the cabin not towards the frunk. NuHorizon is the only one pointing towards the frunk.
