Check for updates: Riven winner: rhinoalbino2675 - Fulmination does work on the Kompressa, just no visual indication, you can decide yourself whether 1m extra range (primed fulmination) is worth it or not :). - If you want you can replace the Riven on the crescendo build for plane ol' Focus Energy, you'll just lose a lil damage. - If you want to go for pure damage and bring a primary that can deal with acolytes you are looking for a Riven with Melee Damage, Crit Chance and Heavy Efficiency. This allows you to lose the corrosive damage on the Syam. - Cheers :)

im running the same shards on kullervo , my build for syam i have a riven and im in electric gas w melee crescendo im basically 100% of the time at 12x combo heavy swinging in millions w only the red crit buff from kullervo but when i pop roar in the mix oh boy i dont prime them , unless its a demo, to build up melee crescendo i use vazarin 2 the vortex to stack ennemies and i swing in the vortex its goes up fast but its only rank 1

Yes you're right, I'm just fully investing into the gimmick to see how far I could push it :) And yes FT is 1.0 on the wave, 0.7 on other melee attacks.

Yes but it can one shot anything in a 70 meters long line It also proccs, if you use fire, oneshot by 6 times CO is supposed to be multiplicative to base damage mods on the wave, meaning, you get more damage out of it Use this with kullervo, really, it's silly

I've been rocking the Dakra Prime for about a year, I got over 200% CC and over 8CD with 2.5k. Base dmg. along will one or 2 swipe anything. With all the buffs you get from frames and stuff in public matches its pretty much 1 hit anything anyway.

Glaive prime is 1000x better tho. 1) you are Loki, so you are already on EZ mode. 2) You prime enemies with Kompressa, that makes almost every single weapon in game viable. You can simply go loki, strip armor with any subsumable skill and obliterate enemies without any need of primers with almost any weapon with slash viral build.

Hi Keesie, for the melee crescendo build, is it necessary to have high upfront damage? I've been trying to make 12x glaive works, but it take too long to reach that. Do you have any suggestions?

Nikana's deal a decent amount of finisher damage iirc, the best way to go about it is to get the stacks in the beginning of the mission while enemies are weak, then you can get away with less damage. High damage will scale with the heavy attack gimmick so it's a good way to build it like that, but we are 100% overkilling enemies (no enemy needs 2.1B damage) so you could drop some stuff like Arcane Fury.

Can you make Syam shockwaves trigger Melee Influence? Or will the forced heat proc always combine with the electricity mod into rad? Other, if you have gas build will shockwave still force proc heat, or add to gas damage? Sorry for all the questions. I don't have Syam yet to test myself 😇

Hi, yep you can make gas electric on the Syam which is really good too :). The heat will add to the gas damage but it will take up 3 mod slots as you have to slot both heat and toxin on the weapon. Otherwise the 1 toxin will combine with the electricity mod and you'll get corrosive heat. Mods on weapons are prioritized to combine before any elements innately present on weapons.

I figured mod slots will be a problem so I'm either going for a melee frame like Voruna or Kullervo to make up for crit/status OR (and this might sound insane) roll a riven untill i get double elements, one being heat. Mainly used Loki as this video was released around the time he got some changes. His invulnerability is also not removed by any nullifier bubbles which is a huge bonus, but as you stated Voruna or Kullervo are amazing choices for the Syam too :)

Works on any frame, I just liked using Loki as he can become fully invulnerable and is not bothered by nullifiers, which can sometimes be an issue for melee builds.

In theory you can with a slide+heavy, which forces a slash proc, this can go to ~5mil which should kill 99% of the enemies in the game, it's just a bit finnicky to pull off with this weapons' gimmick.
