That description of Jason Jackson was way off. Idk why you'd call him an "old head"... the dude is 33, only has 21 fights, and debuted in 2012 (a year AFTER Leon). He's also pretty good. If you remove the split decision loss to Ed Ruth which was a complete and utter robbery, he's on an 11 fight win streak. Sure he doesn't get finishes often, but you can describe Leon in the exact same way. Long ass win streak of decision wins. I understand that the level of competition isn't the same, but still hella unnecessary disrespect to Jackson lol.

I sometimes agree with your takes, however, this video isn't one of them. E.g. Khamzat literally beats Usman one of the best fighters of all time with an injured hand in the second and third round and still wins yet people say he is overrated because the fight was close. The only reason people say this is because they expected him to completely steamroll Usman which is an impossible task. The UFC fanbase is extremely fickle and recency bias is the bread and butter.

To say Izzy is overrated is crazy to me… just because he lost to Strickland takes away from the fact the guy was a kickboxer (who barely ever lost) went completely undefeated in mma until Jan and stayed undefeated at mw until Alex came out… the guy only has 3 losses… and 2 of them are at mw and he beat one of the guys and was ahead of him til he wasn’t in every other fight… overrated?
