When I listened to Opeth, I started with Deliverance, that was in 2019... In The 1999-2008 era... My top with My favorite Songs Of each Is: 1.- Ghost Reveries: -Harlequin Forest -Beneath The Remains 2.- Deliverance: -Deliverance -Master's Apprentices 3.- Blackwater Park: -The Drapery Falls -Dirge For November 4.- Damnation: -Death Whispered a Lullaby -Hope Leaves 5.- Watershed: -The Lotus Eater -Burden 6.- Still Life: -Face Of Melinda -Serenity Painted Death Tool... Well, I love Lateralus but I prefer 10,000 days and In some Moments Fear Inoculum than Lateralus, and The Songs that make me a fan Of Tool came From 10,000 days: Vicarious, Jambi, The Pot and Lost Keys (Blame Hoffman)/Lost Keys Mastodon... I was expecting Blood Mountain or Leviathan as The Overrated, in My case I love Crack The Skye Megadeth... I disagree with butchered for one I never hear it getting an above average ranking within the discography and for two it does have very good writing, every song is memorable and catchy with good rhythm. I guess the argument about production is valid, but I’ve always been a fan of “bad production”, like in human waste by suffocation to, i feel like the production adds to the brutality and atmosphere.

It takes guts to put "Blackwater Park" and "Rust in Peace" on this list, but that's cool, I like guys who aren't afraid to go against the grain a little. As much as I love Ozzy I'd be tempted to put "Blizzard of Ozz" on the list, not because it isn't great but I think the next few albums he put out should get more recognition. I think Diary is better than Blizzard but Diary doesn't get half the praise.

With you on RIP. Always been more of a peace sells guy myself. Revolver has grown on me a bit but yeah it's still a bit overrated I'd say but I'd still take it over white album any day. White album to me is just an incoherent mess with very few moments of greatness to warrant the length of a movie. While killers is definitely a step down from the self-titled I still think I prefer it to any Bruce era album. Was never a big fan of Bruce era maiden, a bit too cheesy and upbeat for my liking and too many overlong songs where the chorus gets repeated like 100 times. Still, can't deny the greatness of a song like Hallowed be thy name.

Black water park especially gets too much shit for being overrated by opeth fans, there is literally no song on the album that is anything below great. Even if you’re a still life, ghost reveries, watershed, or even morningrise fan, black water park is a consistent top 5 opeth album and that’s enough to give it a high rating while it isn’t overrated. Some thoughts: - I personally think My Arms Your Hearse and Still Life are better than black water - Butchered is one of my least favorite CC records because I much prefer corpse grinder. Even still, it’s my least favorite Barnes record. No real reason why just don’t prefer it. - Killers is actually my least favorite of the first 7. Just prefer Bruce and the first album much more. -Maybe just me but I don’t like Tool at all. I like Perfect Circle much better. -Underneath is great, but yeah it’s stupid overrated. Some of my most overrated albums that I still love: Master of puppets - my least favorite of the OG four, still great though Volume IV by Coheed - Turbine blade is a million times better I know you like this one but Covenant by Morbid Angel. Gates is actually my favorite Morbid record In Waves by Trivium - Some serious classics but it doesn’t hit me like most

I love Metallica's Master of Puppets and The Beatles Sgt Pepper's, but I think that they're both overrated! I love Kill Em All and Ride the Lighting more personally. Heck, I even love The Black Album more! I will defend that album! It was a game changer in metal, and it showed that a metal band can be popular in the mainstream! And for The Beatles, I love The White Album, Revolver and Abbey Road more. I also love With the Beatles and A Hard Day's Night, which are my top 2 early Beatles records! I think people in recent times people have recognised that the Ramones' first record is great but more of culturally significant album than a really outstanding one. As for Megadeth I totally agree with you on that I think Peace Sells is better but Rust in Peace is a close second. Good job as always 👍

Geez, tnx for saying it loud, i totally agree on things as Blackwater Park, Butchered at Birth, Killers... and probably even Rust in Peace. Great albums, but "overrated". RiP is not overrated per se, as it contains some golden classic, but as overall quality imo it falls slightly behing Peace sells. Regarding Tool, lateralus is my fav., but to be fair i don't listen to Tool so much.
